Hi! I have been lurking in this thread hoping the best for you. I don't know much about hysterectomies, but I am so pleased and grateful you are able to get the medical treatment you need in Canada!
Wishing you a quick and healthy recovery! Looking forward to your return with great news!

Thanks for all the wishes! Surgery went well they were able to give me a hysterectomy laproscpically so the healing time is a few weeks less and not as invasive as the abdominal incision. The pain afterward was fas worse then i expected so I made sure to be on top of my meds! The pump that was given to me I couldn't- even tell was working it was like taking nothing...Guess staff hadn't been updated and din't know i was already on about 5x the dose they were given me post-surgery so once my pain pump was increased i felt so much better, now slowly getting better and better everyday i don't want to push things i want to heal properly internally!

So glad the worst is over for you, yes be sure to rest, my dr told me the biggest thing was lifting and at that time I had a 2 yr old. I actually found the heavy store doors were the worst so I stopped shopping at stores that did not have auto doors for a couple of weeks. I'm sure once you are all healed you will be so happy you had this done.
