I have to wonder if the trash talking by Evgeny has anything to do with the fairly poor performances so far. He really is a character love him or hate him.

well the medal ceremony was nice. fortunately, i have my own kleenex.
and patty, it's no wonder that evgeny is a bit scary,,,

90.85 for his short program performance, breaking the Olympic record,

set a new world record score in the short program by scoring 91.30 points and took first place before the free skate. He went on to win the European Championship for a sixth time with a score of 255.39 points.

When he skated a few days ago...I saw him cross himself in the Orthodox way ( I'm Orthodox) and I wondered if he was European...so I did research. He calls him self a Russophile haha he loves everthing Russian, he self taught himself Russian and everything LOL
I laughed bc they said he was searching all over Vancouver for pink bathroom rugs last week hahaha

WOW the last American skater was amazing! Evan was his name?? (not sure)

awww I really feel bad about the guy who had his laces snap. well his one lace actually. they could have been new laces too but that a part of the lace was weak or something? I feel so bad for him

johhny does have a female skater as his room mate, maybe the rug is for her?
and that was evan lysacek, ranked 2nd in the world.
