Morning all. Back from morning errands & thinking of going back to bed. Going to a gallery showing tonight with my friend (her coworker is an artist on the side), & don't want to fall asleep amidst the hoity-toity crowd.

I noticed that IGA is doing the BOGO also these days. I picke up a few things that way but otherwise IGA is way off on their pricing. How is Sobey's, they own IGA here I don't know about elswhere.

Of course Kevin has no school today so the plan was to sleep in but nooooooooo Kiera woke up as soon as Larry left, she heard the garage door open, and the phone rang 4 times before 9:30! The freaking phone sometimes doesn't even ring that much in a week!

I think Sobey's is owned by IGA here too. I don't shop there unless they have a really great deal (you know, the "big drop" or whatever it is). I go in and get only that item and leave. I shop at Food Basics mostly - that's the cheapest store in town anyways.

About Sobey's and BOGO - we just really have to watch the pricing, there and everywhere else for BOGO. The best deal was last week at Sobeys, to buy one Cheerios and get two free!
But usually they inflate the initial price, then make it BOGO.
The worst BOGO deal I have ever seen was last year at Safeway - a case of Campbell's soup, buy one at $14.00 get the second one free. OMG! What were they smoking!
Our Sobey's has great produce and bakery bread. At times there are good dollar days specials.
Otherwise, it's a mix of them, Extra, SDM, a little Safeway, and Co-op.

I go to IGA to coupon shop and usually pick up a few things, under $10, but otherwise forget it.

The Palin ad was not on the twitter it was somewhere else but I can't remember where.

Ho-hum so much to do, so little ambition.

goodmorning. woke up and my face looks awful! I look like I am sucking on a jaw breaker almost on the side supposedly. Tho I don't think it is quite that bad. A big candy maybe. It sure hurts too! Glad I am seeing the dentist! My appt is in 1.5hrs. I get to go in and say Surprise! Then I get to watch their reactions! lol
