Heinz beans. I used the B3G1 free coup. I will cook it with onion and bacon, and spoon it over rice.

Next to homemade (mine or any others) our fave is Co-op perogies, the ones in the 750g bag, not the ones in the box. However, I googled and couldn't find any Co-op Marketplace stores in BC, so perhaps you don't have them. Must be a prairie thing!
So, next up is No Name (Superstore/Extra Foods). Next after that is Safeway brand, then Sobey's Compliments.
Almost always we buy the potato and cheddar; once in a while with onion.
But next best to homemade is finding a Ukrainian or even Polish church where often the ladies make and sell perogies. They cost more than the store-bought ones, but the taste difference is worth it.
    Smachnoho! (Happy Eating!)
Thanks for that! I go to No Frills regularly and they have no name stuff. I'll also keep in mind the Safeway brand. But, of course, I should find a source for real home made ones. And smachnoho to you, too!

Some days...do you ever just not stand to eat meat?!
We did marinated chicken breasts in our George Forman, with grilled (baked) veggies with rice, and omg...there are just some days I simply cannot stomach meat!! And it was lovely chicken.....The same thing happened to me with meatballs last week...with sauce, spaghetti....I couldn't eat the meatballs! Now, don't get me wrong...I do eat meat and there's nothing better than a good med/rare steak (when I can stand it)....but boy o boy....sometimes I just can't get it down. It's happening more frequently lately....Very weird. Does this happen to any of you?

I don't eat alot of meat either.... just not my thing anymore... in the summer I love to eat grilled vegetables. And if I'm in the mood for a panini I also add the veggies to a bread with some grilled chicken breast and some havarti cheese and then toast it on the george foreman grill
