Awwww thanks so much for thinking of me on this sad day. Very sweet of you I do look a LOT like my mom. Every week someone comes up to me and tells me how much I remind them of mom. They say it's almost as if she's still here because they see her living through me. We walk the same, talk the same, same personalities and we are both very giving people. I am blessed to have all of her character traits and didn't end up like my dad. My sister took after him though

That seems like something so awesome, when someone who loved your mom sees you and thinks of her. Kinda like she is living still through you. I'm sure she's seeing it herself and loving it too

I have been looking for forum words as well, and I have a friend on the SheKnows forums (I post there sometimes in the babies and expecting threads) and she has been looking (and shares with me if she finds) and neither of us have found even ONE word this time. Very wierd, since usually they are kinda grouped up in one section.
I hope the next hunt is run a bit better than this one was!

Your mom was beautiful and you really look so much like her.. i can see a resemblance in your brother as well. I cant imagine how it feels to lose someone that close to you *hugs*

Wow I haven't seen that much snow in 20 years. I remember when we had that much my almost 21 year old was just 1.

OMG if we had that much snow people here would be freaking out--like Treble said if we have snow flurries the grocery stores are flooded with folks buying milk & bread--that's a running joke here with all the weather forecasters. It was really cold this morning, 17 degrees--checked on conversion website & was showing -8.33 celsius.

We get a dusting here every now and then. Schools SHUT DOWN, roads closed, freeways closed the whole world stands still. Well I just finished cooking a pumpkin and getting it all ready for freezer. 2 days and I am outta here.

i thought i read that batman peed on your computer. omg. lol. so what's batman a dog or a cat? my cat that won the contest..we just found a bucket of poo behind the tv. she refused to use the litterbox even tho we took off the top. (we put it back on cause we're using shavings now). she can't climb, so i think ryan pulled the tv out from the wall a week ago, to hook up his ps (another story..not going there).

anyway, maybe ANDIT can offer some insight?? she peed on the floor in the kitchen. i slipped in it, this was months ago. i don't know where she's peeing but everything smells awful. i don't want to put her down..she's healthy, just not very hygenic at this pt.

Totally forgot to answer NS's one question... I DO knit, but I do not have a fax machine. I really want a pattern for one of those little hats that have kitten ears on them for the baby. My next door neighbor made one for Winter, but she didn't use a pattern, and she doesn't knit anymore.

Funny how older ladies can knit and cook and bake with no patterns/recipies. I'm terrible at that! LOL

i will photo copy it, it's in b/w now, wish i had the color vers. it's an AWESOME colorful like patchwork pattern dress. soooo cute. i can see your little ones wearing them. so i will copy and send to you. wish my fax scanner part would work grr. i'll tuck it in with the candles.

i can get winters done, but mite's is going to be a bit of a prob. ran outta "stuff" and hubby has to work today, when he gets off, unless he's fast, store will be closed. grr. stupid thing is, IT SAID I HAD ENUF. don't wanna let cat out of bag. but if you have some, can never have too many.

oh and i know exactly what you are talking about! i wish i hadda known, i had 2 of those hats here. will google for a pattern for you..wait, actually i think i have that pattern in a book, if i do will rip it out and send it off.

Thanks so much Rebelinu Everyone says I look just like her. I am also told that my brother and i look a lot alike He's my little brother He's also my hero. He's the one that 3 people attempted murder on and miraculously he survived. It's a miracle really. He was on life support in a coma for 3 weeks. Those are his NSCC grad pics from last June. He graduated from Human Services and now works with handicapped people. He's 36 and has been through hell and back...

No worries Seek! I decided to have an early night and went to bed. I had taken stuff to sleep and it hit me quicker than usual

Now I'm off to work soon and then we're having a Chinese Feast with the neighbors. It's the last one of the year I think as lobster fishing starts here on Monday.
