sounds like me at this point can't make a living with an acting career (well not right now or for awhile anyways all depends what happens)
I need a day job...just don't have anything else much that interests me...the nurse thing wouldnt work cause I couldnt give people needles especially little kidsya I know that sounds pretty lame haha
also not sure I could do office type stuff cause I'm too hyper I would get in soooooo much trouble I couldnt sit still and I would probably wander instead of doing work hmm ADHD much? well maybe minus the AD anyways...Last edited by roseofblack25; Sat, Nov 22nd, 2008 at 01:59 AM.

i know which one you mean. the hubby's favorite sister (the one that chased him thru the outhouse), she was killed in an intersection on that highway. i think the intersection was near wentworth.
she had 2 kids and i can't remember if they were in the car at the time. if i remember the story right, her and the other driver died, in a headon.

OMG if we had that much snow people here would be freaking out--like Treble said if we have snow flurries the grocery stores are flooded with folks buying milk & bread--that's a running joke here with all the weather forecasters. It was really cold this morning, 17 degrees--checked on conversion website & was showing -8.33 celsius.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. I know what it's like to take meds for life (I've had a couple of organ transplants).
My friend gets the same way with the lists. Only now, she schedules a time to make lists into her list. The list thing started when she was in hospital & a routine was established. Not much else to do in hospital, once you're starting to feel better, so this became a way to pass time. She's been doing this now for 10 years, and still has times when she's overwhelmed. I call her on a certain day each week (it's in the list) & I help her revise her list or figure out how best to deal with something that disrupts the routine.
The other thing I suggested to her that really helped was getting a pet. She started off with a budgie, & the routine of having to take care of him really helped her to focus.
Hope you're doing well.

Yeah, pretty well woke up to the same fookin' shiat here too
It's just a very light dusting right now but the winds are suppose to pick up. I called my 10:30am veteran and he told me not to go in today. I switched him to tomorrow. I have one at 1pm but he just lives across the road, one house over so I can walk if I have to! He said he'd pick me up too!!! I told him I was pretty sure I could make it there!

Petite I know today is a really hard day, but try to focus on good memories & stay busy. I usually try to do something special for myself & think of it as a present from my Mom. Huggs

I had a reception job for a while and that was my problem... sitting at the desk drove me NUTS! I'd think of any excuse to get up and walk around. So, what did i do right after? A call center job! LMAO... and thats so much worse because your breaks are monitored. I always have to learn the hard way and give everything a try... just some of the many jobs i've tried over the years: pet groomer, support worker for developmentally disabled, receptionist, customer service rep, esthetician, bartender, freelance photographer.... I'm 32 and still trying to find myself so dont feel bad Rose.. you've got time
I'm so lucky in kingston.. alot of the blizzards roll right past us. We barely have any snow on the ground and haven't had a blizzard yet.
I was driving up to Myrtle beach a few years back with my mother.. the year of the big snow storm.. and everyone was freaking out. Nobody had shovels - they were outside in a panic trying to shovel up the snow with rakes. My mom and I laughed so hard!Last edited by rebelinu; Sat, Nov 22nd, 2008 at 02:36 PM.
