Sorry to those that are sick.
As for the weather.. Be safe.. Been there am doing that.. THIS BUTT has NOT left the house since Tuesday morning..
Canceled my nail appointment for today, we still have a lot snow and tons and tons of black ice...
Going to try and do nails tomorrow if roads are bad will cancel again..
Any how I have tons of baking to still do..
Poor dogs are now slipping on ice. Piddles is hating life about now. But she is a trooper still goes outside.

I can't even check my hotmail using IE anymore all I get is program quit responding and last time I tried dam near crashed me suddenly a bunch of msg boxes opening quickly, had to shut down real fast. I keep IE updated on all the patches and everything but I really hate it so don't use it usually but when I click on my mail on msn it opens with IE. Just signing in now instead of clicking on that.
Yikes thanks for the info my little girl just lost all her rawhide treats. She usually only eats half of them then they lay around till I toss them. We got her a new toy last year it had a tennis ball in the middle of a tug ring. Well she didn't have it 10 mins before she chewed the tennis ball off of there and had it chewed open before we realized it. Suddenly she started choking she'd gotten a piece of the tennis ball stuck in her throat. OMG DH and me were both yelling trying to get her to open her mouth which she fights to the death to keep us from getting open (a traumatic experience as a puppy with chocolate she got into and vet had me pouring water down her throat to dilute it). We finally were able to get the piece out she was finally able to cough it up but was very scary. Now her toys are well thought out for durability she may be small but she has some sharp little teeth.
can't find the
will try just writing it in. Trying can have its own rewards
am sure your dh will be more then happy to work hard at it
yikes ok who stole all NS pics and emoticons yikes and quotes too!
aww geez want my hammer have a pretty one I hate computer problems its enough to drive a person round the bend. I usually just end up reformatting rather then fighting with it after trying everything I know. It's a pain in the behind tho to have to go thru and reinstall everything again.
After all the talk about two accounts I decided to go ahead and sign DH up for an account of his own and save up his points for something good. Hadn't wanted the extra work but figure if I feel like it I'll do it and get whatever points I can otherwise I'll just enter my words when I feel crummy, otherwise it'll start feeling like a job and lol can't have that.

Yipee, I just received an email from openmind (Honda Research Inst), they sent me a $30 amazon.ca.
How about you NS? I emailed openmind on Dec 16 too but only to say I already got 1000 approved answers and that I prefer to get a .ca gc and they replied the next day that they'll take note of that.

Well, at noon today, the snow was already covering the tires of our car, and it only started snowing around 9am. I wouldn't care at all, except that DH had to shovel everything out himself, and then go to work in it, and it is still snowing like crazy! I mostly worry about him because he had open heart surgery at 18 to correct a heart defect, and he's SO skinny (he still wears 30 inch waist jeans! LOL I haven't had a 30 inch waist since I was like... 9 years old) I hate him being out in the cold like that and stuff.
I just updated the wiki, and now I'm off to finish up a few Christmas crochet projects and make paper snowflakes with Winter while baby takes a nap. She's so excited for the paper snowflakes, it is very cute. I guess the real snowflakes aren't as exciting!
I'm off! Stay warm

Lolcat, I was making the Hawaiian Pineapple Banana Bread/ Cake and thought of you when I saw this recipe.
Pina Colada Chicken
Makes 4 servings
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/2 pounds total)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (8.5 ounces) cream of coconut
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 can (8-1/4 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
- 10 maraschino cherries, cut in half
- 1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut, toasted
1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with the salt and pepper and saute for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until no pink remains and the juices run clear. Remove to a platter and cover to keep warm. 2. Add the cream of coconut and heavy cream to the skillet; cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until well combined. 3. Stir in the pineapple and cherries and return the chicken to the skillet. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, or until heated through. Sprinkle with the toasted coconut, and serve.
