lolcat, sounds like you`ve got a good dr taking care of you. Good to know.
Fiera, welcome to the forum. If you have any questions, just ask. We`re a friendly & usually chatty bunch here, as you may have noticed. Sanity is optional, by the way.
Star, hope your birthday was amazing! & of course you know that Capricorns are the best - I should know, my birthday is tomorrow (11th). I`m going out to dinner with my parents, a local restaurant (Tuckers) gives free meals on your b-day, great food, so can`t wait.
RQ, keep that pneumonia in check. We need you to keep us on our toes.
Haunish, how many books did you pick up? Right now, I`m not allowed to bring home any more books, until I get my place a bit more sorted out - it looks like a tornado hit. The joys of living in cramped quarters & not having time to put away xmas stuff.
zoodle, did you have a purr-fect day? My cat purred & the dog wagged her tail, does that count?
Shebby, sorry you were lonely. I shoulda let my cat play with the mouse, I`m,sure he woulda sent some interesting messages.
HG, I had a feeling Prancer was being a brat. The smart ones always are. Good luck on that killer drive.
Rose, BREAK A LEG!!! On My Own is one of my favourite songs, I know you`ll do well. So, will you still talk to us when you`re rich & famous?
Amy, I`m another fan of Andrew Llyod Webber. I`ve only missed I think 1 of his musicals, & only because it didn`t hit Toronto. Kinda ticked, cause there`s rumous that Boys In The Photograph scheduled for spring won`t run, but not definite yet. Did you hear about Webber working on a sequel, based on Frederick Forsyth`s book? Can`t wait for that one.
Think I`m caught up with everyone, if I missed someone, just toss something at me to remind me, that`s what my dog does when I`m late getting her dinner.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Watched Eagle Eye with Shia Labeouf tonight really liked it, nonstop action and I he did a good job in it but so far I've liked him in all the movies I've seen with him in them. My hubby got a pic of me, the last year before the big 50, man that just sounds so scary lol don't know how I got to 49 yrs old so fast but the next one is definitely a NO WAY I can't be that old thats a half a century! Anyway it's the avatar pic got me with makeup on and everything lol that's a rare occasion. Ok going to try this adding a pic to this msg since you can't see the avatar pic too well so you all can see I don't look too bad for an old broad lol least don't look like the old lady I feel like lately lmao.
Rose so hope that cough hanging on from the pneumonia doesn't give you any problems at the audition. Just so sure you'll do great this seems to be your year to shine! Knock em dead!Last edited by stardreamer7880; Sun, Jan 11th, 2009 at 02:09 AM. Reason: picture was HUGE and don't know how to just remove that

lol you could open a store on Ebay sell them. Oh that reminds me I did get a present this evening my friend got me a $40 gift card for barnes and noble woohoo!!! That's where I've been for the last few hours lmao so hard to choose, there was a new book coming out next month I could of preordered and I really really want the book but I want it in paperback not a hardback at twice the price but there was also two books in a series by a author who I read the 2nd book in the series and really liked it so was wanting to read the 1st book and a 3rd one has come out but would kind of rather find them in the used book store but unless it's a real well known author waiting for someone to bring in a specific book could take awhile if ever. Decided to try this thing called patience, never been good at it but I hear it has advantages lol, and wait for the paperback of the one book and that meant I could order both of the other two I wanted plus the newest Dean Koontz book which I have almost all his books in hardback so that ate up a good chunk of the gc at $21. She gave me her membership number to use so I could get the discount but it kept telling me that it wasn't my card well duh lol even tried ordering them with her name first but put my email addy and since I signed up with them they told me that email addy belonged to me and the membership number didn't lol so rats didn't get the discount but would of only saved $3.00 so I decided to quit fussing with it and just order my books. So got 3 books coming am so excited although the last couple of Dean Koontz's books have been a bit of a disappointment I think he's just been too sad to write after their very beloved dog passed away. Something is making the difference between a really good book and a good book and I usually really like all of his.

ohhh lucky you especially with a hubby that supports your love of the phantom LOL
Thanks everyone! have to leave at 1 to get there in enough time...this is my fav song too and they wanted something from either of the shows so luckily I already had this prepared!
...and yes I will still come around and talk to you guys when I am famous why wouldnt I...besides I would still be addicted to freebies LOL that and my aunt would never let me get a big head otherwise she would come to canada and kick my ass but it would never come to that because I don't think its possible for me to get a big head I don't think that I am that type of person plus I think it would suck to ditch my usual habits...like SC lol
the cough sucks am doing tea with honey at the moment cause our lemon tea went bad I think, it smelled and tasted kind of funky so we tossed it and I have been finding other ways to get honey without taking it straight off the spoon LOL
Happy Birthday Andit!!!!!
15min till I have to leave yikes! need to go get dressed and finish this tea and get all my stuff together! will update on how it goes when I get home later today or tonight (apparently going shopping after so idk how long this will take)

Rose you will do great let.... ugogirl
Happy birthday Andit, and yes I did have pretty much a purr-fect day cept for this wicked cold that has had me down since christmas.
Star when you said your hubby told you that you could buy that book next month it reminded me of a time my hubby really ticked me off.
I do a lot of desktop publishing for people here and one Valentine day he came into the office and said go ahead and make yourself a Valentine and I will sign it. He did not understand my response....he has done much better since

Happy birthday Andit - hope your day is wonderful...
We are having a nasty snowfall and there's a LOT of snow...the wind is suppose to pick up later
Well ultrasound time again tomorrow for the 2 lump they found in my breast I just have a 'bad' feeling this time though
More thoughts and prayers please...
No new "news" on the situation except that it's progressing as it should and things should be much better soon...I can't WAIT as it will bring so much relief to a lot of people...
