RT everyone thats eaten our ribs really likes them, here's the recipe I use for the marinade and to cook them in then we add some bbq sauce towards the end.
Spicy Honey Mustard Marinade for ribs
appr 4 Tbsps of honey
4 tbsps of yellow or dijon mustard
2 tbsps of soy sauce
1/2 - 1 tsp minced garlic
garlic pepper and garlic salt and creole seasoning
1 tsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp worchestershire sauce
mix ingredients together & I usually go by taste testing adding whatever it seems to need more of lol sorry my recipes are never the same twice but the measurements are close to what I've put here
I usually rub the ribs with BBQ rub first
marinade ribs or whatever meat over several hours in the refrigerator
Cook ribs in marinade at 400 F 1 hour
last 20 mins I brush on bbq sauce turning after 10 mins & brushing some on the top of the ribs

omg i can't reply to it all!
1. i'm going to shoot that husband of mine! he keeps taking off (over the car), he won't take the ds with him to get him out of my hair. so i'm going ballistic! he'll say he only went around the block checking the antifreeze, whatever, but frig, take the ds anyway! i am so mad i'm ripping. (sure enuf just called him, he went down the street and yelled at me he coudn't take him. ok fine. when 10:30 comes, i'm getting rid of both of em. they can go to church whether they want to or not.
2. rose: as long as it's under 1 grand. (and i get enuf tax back) worth to fix.
3. i've had 5 rabbits. they all STUNK. especially the males. we have 2 male mini rex's now. they are litter box trained, but has to be cleaned every 2nd day or the smell goes all thru the house. neither are fixed.
we also have 5 guinea pigs. they're cages can be done once a week. they dont' smell much. i find i prefer these to rabbits, because they dont' smell as bad, are very gentle (rabbits bite, and HARD). g.pigs nip, and they sing, whistle chirp and make all kinds of interesting noises. i just find they're more company. but guinea pigs should be kept in pairs (ie male and female, or 2 females) because they get lonely and stop eating. if one partner goes, then u get another. if you get 2 males side by side cages are great. but each person is different. i also have 4 cats, and 2 dogs. they are becomming high maintenance as they get older.
what about an iguna haun? something off the norm?
snake: your sick, but FUNNNNNY!
and if p&p charges for the shipping on a prize, i'll reject the damn prize when it gets here.
that's why i stressed to you ppl to keep your eyes and ears open. they are putting way to many constraints on their program that i don't think it's going to last. and what if we win something big in the contests??? how much shipping would that be? esp that monthlong baby contest grandprize? holy cow!

my daughter had a rabbit not sure what kind but had long very soft ears. Never noticed a smell, she was potty trained and would go for walks around the neighborhood with a halter lol had all the dogs scared of her mainly scared mollie cuz she'd go right up to her and mollie didn't know what she was, so she'd be barking and growling everytime we were around the bunny at first and would finally shut up when hughie would hop on over there to see what that noisy thing was. She was also very affectionate lol she never bit us but if you quit petting her she'd bit the bottom of your jeans to get your attention. I think they usually live pretty long but after the rabbit went thru katrina then not two weeks later rita she died the day after rita. Not sure why except I think she got pretty dehydrated with Katrina didn't have much water to share with the animals and wouldn't give them the 6 feet of water in the house, wasn't sure it wouldn't hurt them and was gross. Then was just starting to get back to herself when we ended up in the middle of rita and she ended up outside with no roof on the building she was in. Very hot and humid. Took a day to get the trees cleared to get back in there to bil's place think it was just too much and she had no water for some of that time everything got knocked around in her cage or it could of just been internal injuries that weren't apparent to us. She was a real cool rabbit though and never did more then nibble on us other then chewing holes in our clothes to get our attention.

Hi, I'm just wondering if it is really worth it to keep going with Points and Prizes? When I first signed up the beginning of last year, I was able to get an $80 pair of jeans with just over 200,000 points and a $30 item for like 150,000 points. Now items that are like $20 are 250,000 points!! And we all know it takes quite some time to get to that level. I really like the site, but I just feel like it's not worth the time to try to get a huge amount of points only to redeem it for something I could just buy myself.

Be careful with the iguanas! They are fantastic....but!!!! My son had one and it was just great. He used to sit on shoulders, was really friendly, etc., etc. Then he matured and the hormones started buzzing and unfortunately he became aggresive with it.
You also need a pretty elaborate set up for them. Big, big cage, heat pad, humidity, etc. So unless you are prepared to get the right environment organized for them, they are not a good choice, although they can be great pets.
My vote would still go with the rabbit. A lot easier to set up, more fun for little ones.

bunnies are adorable i would go with bunnies all the way!
p&p is getting ridiculous if they start charging us shipping it will be almost as much as the item price so whats the point I can just go out and buy it myself then...am waiting for something good to come along if it ever does then I will get it and be done with the site I think cause idk if its worth the time and effort to keep doing words when it seems to be going the route of the other sites...
have a meeting at 2 so have to get my butt in gear cause i havent eaten and im sitting in pj's still with no make up done
be back later maybe

Since everyone gets others advise lmao i might as well.
Just got a phone call from the spec. once again going in on friday (which in turn i misss my friday class :S) but I have to drive home which is 2 hrs. Over december i had no symptoms whats so ever and could start eating normal food i mean i ate a donut covered in icing at work without :pottytrain5:ting my pants. Since Ive gone back to school everything comes back and back to eating next to nothing. Anyways the sec. told me he might be putting me on Predinose which def dont want to go on but instead of diarrhea im bunged up to nothing ( going maybe 2 x a week) which is def not good as well as all the pains coming back . Hes thinking if it continues he might admit me to the hospital till everything goes back to normal and since ive lost so much weight too. He also cant give me anything for not being able to sleep or for the pain since the pills im on now will cause more bleeding (i sleep maybe 2 hrs if i run 3 days without sleep i will crasha nd sleep all day). Hes thinking of sending me in for the upper scope to check for a hernia but i really dont want to the colonoscopy was just fine for me lol Ive been lossing weight like no tomorrow over the past month ive lost just under 20 pounds and he keeps telling me to gain weight well how can i when i cant eat anything but salad (no dressing) and chicken. does anyone have any food ideas that i can eat without bunging me up or causing diarhea or any sort of pain.Last edited by Ricki911; Sun, Jan 25th, 2009 at 01:53 PM.

I was considering getting an igunana but they grow to be 6 feet long and i definitely dont have the space for something that big to be running around here. I'm probably going to get a bearded dragon but if your hubby is against an igunana he probably wouldnt go for that either. What about a leopard gecko? They're so cute and stay pretty small.

Ricki911--have you tried drinks like ensure, resource, etc there are others I just can't think of them right now but they are a type of meal replacement that gives you needed vitamins and calories
--or what about homemade smoothy drinks with fruit, yogurt, honey, juice, flax seed, benifibre. there are tons of healthy mixtures you can make
