No 3000 points for me yet either. It's sunny here so I am heading out to the back yard for coffee and to sit in the sun with the hairy ones.

Oh well, at least I have a ton of work to do here.

I am going to get the kids to drag some tree branches down the the community compose area when they get home. I can't do all the work and besides I must try to do that mean mom. LOL

New survey up at Spidermetrix worth 1 point, if anyone missed it.

Rose - if you haven`t seen it in the contest section, there`s a chance to win a Betty Boop watch & bracelet:

    http://www.itsaglamthing.com/winit-10.php

Haun - sorry to hear about the shower, hopefully not too much damage.

Racefan & Shebby - way to go on the points. I`m nowhere near there, course I did just redeem for the Bolt dvd (it is really cute, if you like Disney flicks).

Snake - hope you have fun on your course.

Kaela - love the chicken dance.

RTLady - we had a storm down here in Toronto too. My parents had no power & some friends lost their cable, but luckily I had no probs. Poor dog, though, had to hold it through the night cause she refuses to go in the rain.

Kekes - you`re not the only one who missed the code. Double curses.

Terri Lynn & MissyBC & Trakshun - nice to meet you, don`t think we`ve met before.

Aph - Snake said to be good, not to behave yourself. There is a difference.

Ricki - not sure about the hours, it depends on each company, smaller independent companies have different rules from chains. Sorry, I can`t help.

NS - if you want some real eye candy, come to Toronto in June during Pride week. Really pretty, but somewhat of a waste. At least for the ladies.

Went out to dinner once at a nice restaurant downtown. My date went to the washroom & got hit on by the prettiest boy you could ever hope to lay your eyes on. Date came back to the table, laughing. Throughout dinner I kept teasing him that the `date`he turned down was prettier than me.

Curls - thanks for the heads up on the prizes. Not enough points for what I want though.

Star - you know better than to run around like that. Rest is what you need, although I can sympathize with feeling stir crazy.

BG - glad you were inside safe from the storm. It was pretty nasty down here.

Back from my mini vacation - got kicked out cause my parents were having plumbing problems (water dripping from ceiling, luckily into the bathtub) & the critters were getting in the way of folks coming to check it out. Ugh. Water stopped dripping, & plumber`s coming back tomorrow to hopefully fix the issue.

Critters did the Let`s play at the crack of dawn thing, so we`ll have to sleep in tomorrow to catch up on our sleep.

Went to see my friend who had surgery - babysat her while her parents went out for a break. She`s doing very well for someone who just had surgery. Her Drs had the same reaction mine did after I had surgery - what do you mean you don`t need painkillers!?!

Got a question for the medical experts here. She is on the thyroid replacement pills & has been taking them in the morning cause that's what the surgeon prescribed & what the pharmacist told her to do. But her specialist wanted her to take the pills in the evening, before bed. She`s been feeling tired in the mornings, then gets a second wind in the early afternoon. How difficult is it to switch to taking them at a different time, since it's been stressed to her that the pill taking is time sensitive. Thought I'd ask here first, she's got a call in to her specialist, but won't hear back before tomorrow. She's a bit concerned that taking the pills at night will upset her sleep. I suggested she try it now while she's off (2 weeks of recovery). Any ideas?

Hope everyone is doing well. As always, I'm sure I've forgotten someone. I swear my mind is a sieve. If I've forgotten you, send me a nasty note & I'll send you a limerick. I'll even make it naughty if you want.

Cat`s ticked at me right now, cause I stepped on him when I was heating up dinner. Not my fault he was underfoot. Oh great, now he`s stolen a sock from my laundry basket. Time to get the dog to put it back in the basket (it's her job to gather dirty clothes & put them in there).

I saw and entered! wish i had of known about it earlier this is one contest i really really really really really want to win!

OK Rose where do you live? I thought is was on the other side of TO, but here you are talking of Belleville???

If you are close to Belleville, then I should be able to go to your play if I don't have the kids. Let me know. Oh and the day that the play is on too. Thanks.

    Good morning everyone.

Snake - good luck on the course.

NS - You has the Wii on the way. You are so gona love it!!

Not much else going on here. I did some work in the yard on Saturday, but nothing on Sunday. The weather was cool and well I was hurting a little from Saturday. Lord I am so out of shape!!

The cats were in and out all weekend. They just could not make up their minds. Everytime I would open the door they would run out or in.

We didn't get the rain that everyone else got, missed us. The warm weather on Saturday brought out a lot of my flowers. I swear some grew 3 inches over night!! I need to start moving some of the flowers from the back yard to front now that the flower bed in the front is weeded. I am putting in a veggie garden with the kids in the back. We are planting weird veggies. Purple potatoes, Red (all the way though) potatoes, Purple carrots, orange cauliflour, chocolate cherry tomatoes and ground cherries. If there is room we might put some normal veggies in.

OK I have to get to work, I have to go though a ton of accounts looking for the Ont. ones.

BBL have a great day everyone.

OK So that is about 2 hours from me. It doesn't look that hard to find.

Let me talk with the kids and see if they want to go, we can make a day of it. If not, I'll aim for the week I don't have them.

Now how do I get tickets????

Thetick - were you still thinking of going??? If so maybe we could try to get tickets together, depending on the day. I have the kids the last weekend in May. (by the way they like going to plays so they would probably enjoy going, but I just want to double check that there isn't anything else going on with them first.)

None for me either. I am beginning to wonder what that "within 2 working days" statement meant. Within 2 working days of Christmas?

I thought that was how NS hurt her ankle?

    Try not to overdo it.

Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely day (at least here in Toronto it's gorgeous). The brats & I had a picnic lunch on the rooftop. Lots of fun, except I forgot that the window washers were here today. The poor dog kept freaking about the human falling off the edge of the roof. I would be living with Lassie's protege. The cat just shot everyone dirty looks for having to go out & get fresh air. Reminds me of how I was as a kid (I liked staying inside & reading books, great outdoors meant allergies & sneezing).

Andit I mostly gave Synthroid in the hospitals where I worked and it was always given before breakfast. I looked to see what drugs they have in Canada for thyroid replacement and found Cytomel which didn't really specify what time of day just said once a day that I was able to find. Sorry wish I could help but am sure LOLcat is much more familiar with whats given in Canada and when its normally given. There are quite a few drugs that will interfere with the absorption of thyroid replacement drugs so the time of day may be affected by that. My mom was on synthroid always took hers in the morning and took her blood thinner in the evening. Warfarin aka coumadin the blood thinner most people take is routinely given in the evenings. Other drugs that can affect the absorption of the thyroid drugs are diabetes meds, some heart meds and estrogen drugs. She shouldn't take anything over the counter without notifying her dr as some cough and cold medicines she shouldn't take. If she's on calcium or iron she should take it 4 hours apart from those, that includes things like antacids with calcium. Hope this helped some
