has anyone here bought stuff from e.l.f before? I made a post about it on my blog but no one has replied yet i am trying to find some people that have tried the stuff cause i want to know if its worth ordering especially with how expensive shipping is. but they have some awesome prices on the mineral makeup

I've bought from them a couple times. You can ALWAYS find coupon codes to substantially lower your order (by 50% or so) or save on shipping. Some stuff is wonderful, like their duo cream eyeshadows. I use the black licorice or mocha swirl. The lip glosses are practically edible.. i always end up eating half of it off my lips lol. The only thing i wasnt thrilled with was their mineral foundation powder. It felt cakier than Pur Minerals or Physian's Formula, which i ususally use, and the colour was way off from what it appeared to be on the website. Its cheap so if you want to get one to try, go for it, but i'd still go with something else.

I also have some of their makeup brushes, a tweezer and an eyelash curler.

If you place an order with them be SURE to grab an eyelash curler for $1... its the best one i've ever used

Morning,

Just got home from work and have 2 nights off . Its my sisters bday tomorrow.

I almost crapped my pants a few times coming home.

1st time - a cop coming the other way did a big Uey and put his lights on right behind me. But ended up pulling the guy ahead of me over.

2nd - A deer ran in front of me - thank god I have a new car with excellent breaks. If I had my old car I would ate him for dinner.

Anyways Im off to bed - Im still semi shaking.

So is everyone ready for a happy ending story?

Remember my friend's friend whose church was refusing to help him? It seems that just after we found out about his problems a couple of weeks ago (he'd been struggling for several months, but wasn't telling anyone), things turned around for him. He went for his annual check-up at the Drs & for once the waiting room was empty, so he started chatting to the nurse, asking whether she knew of anyone who could help. She immediately offered to take him grocery shopping. She also invited him to her church. He's now involved in a couple of committees, planning some social events, met lots of really nice people & has lots of folks helping him. He's even met a nice girl (they've been dating for 2 weeks).

I'm sooo happy for him. Just goes to show you, you never know what's going to happen & that there can be happy endings.

Hope everyone is doing well. It's sunny but cool here. I'm still waiting for the 20C they keep promising us. At least we don't have snow.

ok sounds good! I wasnt going to get the mineral foundation cause I read all the reviews about the colours being off and I'm very ghost white so I doubt it would match my skin at all. I also don't wear foundation ever, so I was going to get the stuff called mineral booster. It's just translucent and thats all I use in powder anyway is the sheer stuff and its $8 for a huge jar of it well twice the size of the one I paid $15 for LOL so am going to try that I think.
My sis wants one of the get the look kits that comes with the eyelash curler, I already have a really good one that I got for a couple bucks can't remember where though LOL

Was just on editing the wiki... I have contacted P&P about the word hunt word "Penguins" as it is not working, for sure..
