DH wants hot dogs for supper tonite ..... eassssyyyyy ! YAHOO! Made really good pork ribs yesterday, done with a dry rub using .... ready for this .... fresh ground coffee beans (no not the ones that have gone thru the coffee maker! lol) ... and believe or not the ribs were darn fine!!!!! Its a keeper!!!! wonder how it would work on chicken??? mmm I would never have believed, I was trembling the whole time I was smearing the dry rub on the ribs! lol
well time for me to head down to the kitchen ... so Swagbucks can post another code behind my back! lol

home got to the drs office at 7:30 dh did drop me off a little bit early. They had some problems getting my IV started so the infusion didn't start until 8:45, she said she'd probably have it ran in over 4 hours this time was more like 4 1/2 but was out of there by 2:30 such a long long day, did get a little nap though its so hard to get comfortable in their chairs I think next time I'll take a little pillow along and my own blanket. The dr gave me a shot that should help if I get really achy after this infusion although by the time it was done couldn't touch a couple of my joints but said if it was bad tomorrow like last time I could come in and get another shot, may do that. Thanks for the words, that darn swagbucks having a code of 3sbs while I wasn't home grrrrr! lol. Have a good day everyone

Ooh, $75 for a bunch of shows is pretty good (how many shows & where?).

My friends & family buy me a pass each yr to the Mirvish shows (mostly musicals), so I get to go see all the big shows (Sound of Music, Dirty Dancing, etc). I sometimes get a discount on some shows cause my friends have connections, but that's rare. I also make a point of going out to see folks I know perform & give them support.

I've done quite a bit of volunteering at the theatre across the street from me (so much so, they actually hired me to work 1 day a week - wish I had energy for more), so I get to see all the shows that come there & we get a lot of variety! Makes life fun. The only bad part is having to deal with unhappy patrons who can't understand why they can't carry on conversations during a quiet show or get upset with me when they come late (I suppose it's my fault they can't tell time? ).

I wish I had more energy, I know of a couple of theatres needing volunteers, but know it would be too much for me right now. Hoping the other things that are going on in my life slow down soon, so I can look more into that.

Next time you're in Toronto (come soon!!!), I'll hook you up with tickets to a show at "my" theatre (I watched it being built from my window, so it feels like my baby ).

I think its 75 not sure maybe its 80 or 85 now can't remember but its for I think 4 or 5 shows this year so I might do that its cheaper then spending $26 on each show or $30 whatever it is now I'm not following that closely this year because I'm not involved in any of it
I'm jealous that you live across the road from a theatre LOL I should move to TO and get a job as an usher at some theatre just because then hit up auditions LOL but I need to make the money to move there first haha
I want to try and get to TO again soon but depends on if I could get a day off work or if they would be too happy with that at the moment because they are short a few people and don't have enough people to cover shifts.

Several media outlets in Los Angeles are reporting that pop legend Michael Jackson had a heart attack on Thursday afternoon.
Jackson apparently suffered cardiac arrest and was taken to hospital by L.A. fire department paramedics. A 911 called was made from his home in that city at about 12:20 p.m. local time.
Jackson, known as the "King of Pop," was reportedly not breathing when help arrived.
Celebrity gossip blog TMZ.com quoted a family member as saying the singer is in "really bad shape."

I was very skeptic (figured they just wanted to sell us products) about the whole thing. My friend wanted to go to the Rexall presentation in the next town over (so wasnt that long of a drive). She got me to go she mentioned freebies LMAO But they ran out. We both got it done. She has big time skin damage (shes a farm girl) whereas I have none just a few freckles. The lady who did it just said its handy to just see where to look to get the damage before it spreads and does more damage.

Tey have little booths set up throughout Canada maybe they might have one set up around u.

Soooooo, today is my last day at work for 5 weeks. I can't wait for the day to be over!! LOL

Just want to mention that if you don't see me on here it is because I am busy cleaning the house and gardens and swimming in the pool and playing Pirates. I will still try to get on early in the morning before I start the cleaning and weeding.
