What a crappy rainy day.. ive been cooped up inside *sigh*

So for anyone who's been wondering, yes i've been away from p&p for quite a while. I haven't done any codes in months.. not sure if i'm going to bother with it anymore. I'll try to make a point to pop in here more often, but i'm also trying to cut back on the computer time a little as well. lol

Oh and i'm not active on Pet Society anymore - I'm totally addicted to Mafia Wars now

Good luck with cutting down on computer time. I refuse to get involved in Facebook, cause I know I'll get addicted. & then the brats will murder me in my sleep. They're already mad that I cut back on their rations cause the vet said they were overweight (& my parents overindulged them when we went for a visit the other day).

Hope everything's going well. Sorry about the rain, my poor dog can sympathize (sigh, who ever heard of a dog with webbed feet who hates getting their toes wet?).

We spent today relaxing. It was nice to just have a day to relax & do nothing. The cat is finally back to normal after his catnip overdose - gonna keep him sober from now on, he's crazy enough as it is. The dog ate too much grass yesterday morning & kept throwing up every couple of hours - she's finally back to normal too. Can't imagine how hard it would be to raise a child, yikes!


Started a thread in the Tea Room on Life Coaching. My friend is looking into becoming a coach. I think she's got the perfect personality for it. Does anyone have any experience with a life coach? Here's the link to the thread:

Ricki, can you put a lock on your door? Or put a lockbox in the back of your closet? I have a desk with a bottom drawer that locks, which is where I have to hide my parents' Xmas presents, cause my Mom is obsessed with cleaning & insists on rearranging my closet (drives me crazy, but it makes her happy, so I put up with it, even though there are times I wanna scream ).

Errr I wake up to get an email from UPS that my Yves Rocher package was deliver well it was all opened on my table with stuff missing. My sister just thought she would help herself to it. Just because she has no money and cant afford anything doesnt mean she can take my stuff. She takes stuff from my roomall the time and I find it in the bathroom. Then she was saying it never came then turns around and says well you got it free (yet I didnt). She would have looked if I emailed the company and said I didnt get it. Shes just like my older brother lies nad steals money. Clearly shes going far in life.

People have suggested you find another job rather then take the abuse I know some people seem to enjoy abuse I hope that isnt' the case I hope its just that your stuck in a rut and not doing anything but it sounds to me like its time to. Your job doesn't sound like one that couldn't be easily replaced (why work somewhere your not happy then?) Girl get off your butt and go find a job you like or at least one where you like your coworkers!!! Take a hint from Rose, she's found what sounds like a perfect job for her but you won't find that unless you go look for it. For heavens sake put a lock on your bedroom door I know you probably need to save money for school so moving out probably isn't a good idea right now for you but sure would solve some things. Your dad is unfairly on your back all the time or thats what I've gotten from what you've said, your sister and brother don't sound like anyone you would miss, so when you can get out of there but in the meantime don't make it so easy for them to abuse you. A lock is not hard to put on a door I've done it myself. If these people are as bad as you say they are why aren't you doing anything about any of them? Hope everyone has a great weekend!!! roflmao dh is bbq'ing tomorrow well actually today later lol we went and bought some stuff to fix didn't dream he got all of it to fix for the two of us but yep he did . We are having bbq hamburgers, ribs, steaks, pork chops! lol course he could pull out some chicken in the morning yet but so far thats all I've heard. Asked him when we got home why he put all that meat in the fridge instead of the freeze......cuz we're eating it tomorrow......SAY WHAT!!! Shoot I couldn't even eat half a hamburger for dinner last night but guess we'll have left overs for days and dayssssssssssss if not week! Gonna get to see how the bbq'er I won a couple months ago works. Well off to bed so I can make the cole slaw, baked beans and gonna make some thousand island dressing tomorrow as well as bake some cookies (tired just thinking about it lol). Hugs all cya later!

Ricki, I was thinking like SD last night, if you don't assert yourself at home and at work, they will continue to use you as a door mat. When you do nothing, you are enabling them.

You have said that your job has been shorting you money, and this last time for a good amount, you have A RIGHT to complain to the Ontario Labour board, and you really should do it. There is no way in hell I would let them get away with that crap. The longer you let it go on, the less chance you have of rectifying the problem.

Ricki - it's very hard to get out of a situation when you're in the middle of it. I had a job I absolutely hated, & kept at it cause I didn't have the energy or time to try to get another job. But, it was just a miserable boss, they at least paid me well & on time. If they're messing with your pay, they need to be reported - who knows how long they've been doing this to others who are not as strong as you. You need to report them. Do you have any proof of them shortchanging you? From now on, take a sheet of paper with a chart on it (actually 2 copies) - when you get there, make the manager sign you in, make her write the time in herself. Then when you leave, make her sign you out. Until she does, refuse to either start work or leave. Then, if they shortchange you, you have proof.

Star - can I come for dinner? My friends always tease me that I'm more of a carnivore than my beasties. Speaking of whom, they're both sitting here drooling as I was describing your BBQ plans. Yummy!

Kekes - want me to send you my little bug catcher? My cat is very good at catching (& eating) flying insects. Of course, he might decide that the ribs are more enticing & leave you to deal with the skeeters yourself.

Hope everyone has a good day! It's sunny, but not really warm enough for July. But as long as there's no snow, I'm happy. Off to see a play this afternoon with Eric Peterson & Kenneth Welsh. Should be good.

Thanks for the lectures (oh wait I mean words of advice)

About the stupid family I flipped on my parents last night told them if someone even looks at me sideways I was leaving. (should of seen how nice they were to me). Well it all started because I spent 150$ on my VISA (the joys of my dad seeing my bank acount- which he doesnt know I called the bank and got him removed) - this was for my cpr , aed and 1st aid course this august. My dad then turned flipped on my sister and whatd you know my room in packed with stuff ths been misising for months. I told her if she just asked I would give her some but when she just turns around and takes it. I told my sister if she wants to open my mail fne but when they grow legs (doesnt work that way) same with stuff in my room the magic thing is to ask. I went out a bought a lock yesterday on my day off (I came home from work this morning and someone had already put it on for me). I also flipped on my dad and told him its nice to know that hes worried about my money and what but when your checking it everyday. I told him he shouldnt be looking at me ( i have over 3 grand sititng there not including OSAP). He kept going on about what i need money blah blah so I told him if I need money ill ask (ive done it in the past and ill do it again). The only reason he needed access to my account was to pay my car insurance but now they automatically take it from my account. (I got the bank to start logging th ip #s that access my bank accounnt - since I only use 1 computer to log into it).


Yesterday the manager flipped on me like I said so I called the big boss (the owner). I have a meeting with the managers and the other night staff (since none of them will say anything). Although its simple to say just go get a job - there isnt any. Ive try knowing because Im in school (a decent job i wouldnt get hired) but things such as coffee time and petes also tried grocery stores. None are hiring even timmies is cutting down. I cant just stop working just because i ahte my job ( well thats if anyone wants to volunteer to pay for my meds I dont mind). I started booking weeks off to take vacation (I honestly dont care if they book me in on those weeks or not Im not going - its actually funny because i actually have plans for once). I went into work last night and they changed my schedule - they booked me in for a few more shifts that I didnt say I would so while I was screaming at her saying i wasnt doing them the district manager walked in opps well she took me outside and asked me why I was flipping and that could get me fired (well duh) so i explained. She wrote it down and taking it higher (someone in trouble). The other guy i work night on calls the labour a few times and they have done nothing. Ive tried calling and they say oh yeah we have that same report we re going this week.

oh yea and I went into the pharmacy to pick up my meds - someone already paid for them The lady was new so figured she screwed up but the pharmaphist said my parents came in and paid them. I told them Id pay them back but they wont accept the money. Either they dont want me to leave or their packing my bags as I type. I told them once Im done next April (which Ill be in Oshawa from Sept to April) Pack my bags Im movinng in with an old coworker. Once Im done school Im looking for a desk job or something like that.

My dad was just out there checking my oil and asking if I needed gas. Offered to pay for it too. (huh) Even my younger brother was nice to me - very rarely that he even talks to me. Ive arranged with my friends parents to live with them after my vacation for most of august just have to pay for food (but really the week i wont be my whole family will be on vacation and my sister wont be home) then Im back to school.

Even my specalist suggest I get away from my very wonderful family. So I suppose I better listen to him cuz he said by next months visit if the inflammation hasnt decrease Im taking a trip to the hospital.

My friend told me to go to work tonight - when Im done go to his house and stay here Scare them for a few days or so.

Ive been doing that (we have clock in cards and they have your name and each time you clock in and out it gives you a papr saying this). Ive gotten the managers to sign it and date it. I told the owner if this continues Ill leave and get unemployment till i move to oshawa. Hes putting his foot in the middle (since the managers all been there under 6 months - Ive been there 6 years).
