Sending well wishes your way. Hoping you can find ANY relief at this point. I know you've heard me say this before but my doctor told me that with the advances in medications these days NOONE should have to suffer pain. I wish it were true for all the people I know who suffer from pain. You my friend and my mom too.

I am sorry to hear you are unwell.
Its funny when you are just typing away on the computer you forget that people are different, and in a way, all you see is the words they type and the things they choose to share with you.
I had a good "online" friend who I chatted to almost daily for years, and then one day he made a comment about being deaf. I was stunned. He was totally completely deaf from birth had never heard a sound in his life.
Had I met him in person would I have taken the time to try and communicate with him? I would like to think I would but you know it would have been frustrating and awkward in the beginning and I don't know if I would have had the patients to see an acquaintance become a good friend. Doesn't sound very nice, but likely true.
I just assume the rest of you are just like me. White (isn't that arrogant!!!) Employed (again pretty arrogant) with a happy family who you sometimes yell at. I imagine your life experiences are pretty much in line with what I have experienced and that none of you have good days and bad days. You are all just sitting around typing things and waiting for me...or one of the other people on this forum who are 'just' like me to respond to you.
Logically I know this is NOT a reasonable assumption, but its one I can't help but make and when I hear that someone is in pain, it really jars me to reality. When someone writes of a loss, I think "what if that was me sharing my loss" and I become more compassionate... for the moment until I forget again.
Thank you for sharing, it helps me understand people better, it reminds me to evaluate my perceptions. And although I can't do anything to help take your discomfort away, by sharing it you have reminded me that we are different. I am thankful I feel well today and, I hope you feel relief soon.

Skippy I am so sorry you are having such difficulties walking..I should not take for granted the ability to walk, as I feel so badly that you are unable to...have you taken any joint remedies like Glucosamine and Chondroitin or anything like that? Can the doctor give you Cortico-steroid injections to reduce the inflamation and pain? You shouldn't have to be in pain
