Canada Post - Royal Wedding stamps
The domestic stamp features a photograph taken of the couple last November when they announced their engagement.
The international stamp shows their official engagement photo.
On the day of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, Canadians will have an opportunity to cancel their stamps at the post office with commemorative cancels.

Royal Wedding Shop at Canada Post website - stamps, coins, collectibles. I don't like the mug nor the plate, though... too bad.

as i recall, no one runs the whole wedding as a rerun
so pick your station - and tape live, if you are the same sort of history/romantic royal etc. that i am.
even nuttier set up all tape machines to different stations.
queen elizabeth drove by my grandparents' home,
on marsh street in new glasgow, nova scotia.
(thinking i wasn't born then)
blah blah on my part,,, get tapes
not as easy as it sounds

I'm going to need a keepsake box just for my royal wedding soveniers! Seriously I must be stopped! I actually pre-ordered the above domestic stamps and UK stamps, but also the ones that will be post marked in the UK with the special royal post mark *sighs* not to mention I ordered the official 5 dollar Gbp wedding coin and have in my possession now the mug and the magnet.
Seriously, someone stop me!!Last edited by TaraF; Sat, Apr 16th, 2011 at 02:57 PM.

I wonder if they will have a "Royal keepsake" box? Lastnight I ordered a beautiful bone china mug from England *someone stop me!* seriously my collection will be huge!
As we just moved my Mother gave me her Charles & Diana Collection from when they were getting married and we also have a box to go through that is another royal wedding collection but she isn't sure whom. I'm excited, and to say I have Royal Fever right now is an understatement lol This is what I purchased lastnight:

That's a nice mug, Tara. I don't like the one on the Canada Post site...
From where are you ordering?

I actually ordered this mug from Ebay from someone that is a reputable turbo seller there. She lives in Staffordshire, U.K and the mug is made in England as it appears all of the Royal Wedding pieces are that she has listed. I'm starting to think she owns a China Shop there because that's all she sells online. Anyways, read as many reviews as I could since she has many and her seller rep is 99.8% after selling for many years so I felt confident with ordering it from her.
As for the coin I ordered that from the Royal Mint in Britain, and the mug & magnet that I have currently I purchased at a local store called "The British Boutique".
The moral of the story??

For anyone that lives in or around Toronto that is collecting Memorabillia from this wedding, my cousin isn't sure whether it's the Toronto Star or the Toronto Sun (maybe someone can verify for me?!) but the April 30, 2011 edition will have a special wedding medallion enclosed in it and the paper will be $5.00.

There are, and still will be for the next two weeks, lots of TV shows on various royal wedding related stuff. I haven't been interested in any so far, but tonight there's a 20/20 special on - I think Barbara Walters probably got some good 'ins' on interesting info, so I'll watch it.

The 20/20 special was quite good, I liked it.
One week to go!
Wow, the wedding timetable - down to the minute....
