600 of the 1,900 guests also have been invited by the Queen to a reception that she is hosting immediately after the ceremony in the Abbey. 



Later, around 300 of those 600 guests are invited to a 
dinner hosted by William's father, Prince Charles, in the evening at Buckingham Palace. 



I think it's very cool that they chose Canada as their first foreign trip!

Patty...they're just leaches on the economy of Britain! When I heard, several years ago, that the queen wanted the government to PAY for the repair her brick fencing around the estate, that for me was about the lowest anyone could sink.
Her people don't have proper dental care...some still without central heating, and that old argument about them being a 'draw' for tourists, puh-lease!! When they get off the dole and off the backs of their peasants, tourists will still visit. Not me, but someone....

I agree im happy that Canada is their first foreign trip as a couple!! A bit upset that Toronto isn't on the itinerary but im happy to make the trip to ottawa :D

There was some hubbub about some racist stuff one of Kate's friends posted online. You can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep.

I got up at 4:00 am to see Diana and Charles married - My mum and um....well,.....maybe me too- like to follow these things -

William was a stunning looking little boy and young man but adulthood has toned down his good looks in my opinion.

At least these two have known each other long enough to know whether they actually "love" each other.
