I am thankful that I do not have to go anywhere tonight & I can lounge and keep the remote handy and do some channel surfing.

I'm thankful for a wonderful friend who offered me a part time job with a community group I'd been volunteering with since December 2008. It's just nice to know my work was recognized and the fact we'll have a little extra each month is a BIG deal

I'm thankful I managed to get groceries, work 6.5 hours, get 4 loads of laundry and 2 loads of diapers washed, and fit in a 25K bike ride tonight. I'm feeling refreshed!!
Hope everyone is having a great weekendThe Bird Nest...

I am thankful that we could re-use the lenses from my DH's glasses which snapped suddenly. Phewf! And the lady gave us 20% off the new frames.

I am thankful that despite the weather being crazy this weekend (sunny and super hot on saturday, rainy and cold on sunday) we had a great pow-wow weekend!

How sad.
I know what you mean; over the weekend I didnt bring my baby boy Sammy to the pow-wow because of the heat and I am glad I didnt; a little boy around his age had a seizure from the heat (he was taken to hospital but was well enough to be released the same night.). When you know of a sick child or know of a child who passed, youre just thankful to be able to hug your kids, moods and all.The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.
