I am so thankful my son and husband help out around the house when my hands, knees, or back just can't do certain things any more. Son is out buying groceries, husband is washing dishes... and here am I!!!

I'm happy to be rich! Nawwwww....not in the monetary way. Rich in family. Rich in love. Rich in laughter and rich in health. It's a beautiful life!

I am thankful my little ones are asleep and I have some quiet time with my DH. I love my kids but love the evenings when they all sleep at a relatively early time and allow DH & me to watch some tv, maybe enjoy a nice cool beverage on a muggy sticky evening (like tonights...).

oh, I am SO thankful for holidays. We don't technically leave till later this week so I will be tying up loose ends at work for the next few days. I'll be there in body, but not in spirit. In spirit, I went on holidays about 4 days ago.
Also thankful that it wasn't a lot worse when we set the skunk free that we accidentally caught in our live trap.
Ewww!
And...thankful that puppy was far enough away from the live trap to avoid getting hosed (cuz she's too stupid to not bark like heck at the skunk). That was how we discovered we had a skunk issue to begin with.
And grateful DH only got a little of the spray on himself.
(but you kinda get what you deserve when you're using a mop handle to prod a skunk out of a live trap.
oh yeah...and grateful for emoticons...cuz I seem to have used a lot of them in this post."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle
