    that my ex girlfriend has now become my best friend, too bad we only get along because we're not dating anymore (and she lives in ottawa). I am thankful that I still have her in my life

    Wow haven't heard you that optimistic for a while. It really must be doing something.

    I am thankful that I have some new found energy after dragging my butt in the heat of the summer. I don't do heat well, but fall is a joy.

    I am thankful my little boy Sammy (aka "the Boss") went to pre-school all by himself today (no mommy or daddy required). Daddy dropped him off, stayed a few minutes after he heard DS ask "where is my daddy", then was able to leave!!! The teacher gave DH a thumbs up when the bus dropped DS off after school this morning!!!

    I am so proud of my little man!!!

    My one year old Gr. Grandbaby was burned when she touched the glass on our Gas Fireplace. She received burns on her fingertips and palm and the doctor said the burns were 2nd degree and he bandaged her little hand. It breaks my heart, As you all know I was the one caring for her today and I feel terrible. Please pray for her to heal quickly and that I can forgive myself for not watching her more closely. We had just turned it on this week and it was a new thing for her.
