I live next to a creek and a swamp so what I am truly, madly , deeply thankful for is ..... Deep Woods Off ! Without it there would be no gardens, no veggies and from the size of these blighters maybe no Winston!

What a lovely commemoration idea, Crochetlady...
I am usually quite the happy person, truly, but there are times like currently when some of my health conditions overwhelm me a bit when a few come up at the same time, so I am VERY thankful that my husband and son understand that I can get a bit owly, and am really 'not myself' at these times. They aren't scared away by me, they love me just the same, and show me even more! Gosh, I'm blessed!

For my son's UWO graduation 1 year early and acceptance into Med. School. 20 years later, I look back and KNOW I could not have got here without God's help. I am so blessed and so proud.

Congrats on having a new graduate in the family!
I am thankful for an old purse. I was going to donate it to a charity, but found the lining was too old and ripped to donate.
However, in the lining, found $8.00 in loonies, toonies and change. This is enough to treat someone in the family, to an funny AMC movie ($6.00)

I am thankful for Willis Haviland Carrier-- the inventor of air conditioning.
Geez...I would not have survived today's nasty heat spell without his wonderful invention!
Ok...I actually would've survived without it but I woulda been real b*tchy.
