Thankful for my little baby girl who sometimes still wakes up at night and needs Mommy to hold her to go back to sleep.

I'm thankful that we ordered a new dishwasher and I don't have to put up with the one that was here when our DD bought this home.
Now...what to do with our old one....freecycle, I guess....?

Thankful that our old dog was found and taken care of by some wonderful cottage owners down the road from us. Thankful for this beautiful sunny day and for my first boat ride of the summer.

awww Skippy. You're an inspiration--you see the positive in a situation where many people would only see the negative.
Today, I am thankful for Skippy-- for starting this thread and for reminding us to count our blessings--no matter what.
Thank you Skippy!
P.S. I haven't seen any monarchs this year, but they are my favorite butterfly in the whole world. How I miss them. When I was a kid, they were everywhere."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

I'm thankful the day is over cuz I've been in pain for most of it

A belated thank you to Ninna and Shop Girl for their kind words. However I have always believed that this thread is only as good as its contributors.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

I know this might sound strange, but I am thankful for getting FREE towels in the mail!! When they started arriving so quickly, and DS started getting his too and giving them to me ( he didn't want them) I was like a little kid!

But...then I read a few threads and posts about unsatisfied members that thought they were too thin, or faded when washed, or just didn't measure up quality wise.
You know what? I still am very happy and grateful that I got the cereal for $2.97, my family got to eat and enjoy that cereal, I didn't even have to buy a stamp to get these towels, I got to select the styles, and they arrived EARLY!!
Happy Towel Day,

I'm happy to be alive! For "another spin around the sun," as one pop song once put it. LOL. It's a beautiful life on this beautiful August day!
