Again very thankful for DH!!
Early yesterday morning I mentioned to DH that I was planning on parking my butt on the walkway and with a small knife was going to dig out every last green shoot of weeds and other green things that had forced their way up between the slabs of stones. Pretty certain he laughed as he pictured me shimmying my way on my bum from the top to the end of the path.
( he is aware the effort it would take for me to stand up and back down after each foot or so )
I was also going to trim back both lilac bushes as they were impeding my daily walks up the path when I was carrying bags of groceries in. So imagine my surprise this morning!!
When he was out sunning himself at some point, the bugger did ALL my work for me! He never said a bloody thing last night....ha ha

Still quite thankful that despite all my aches and pains I woke up this morning and was able to get out of bed and take a walk, knowing that many others are unable to and feeling for them.

Sept 13th marked 50 years my DH has been at the same job with the same Company! Retirement? Him? I won't hold my breath anymore.
They say when you love what you do it's not work. Pffft! I say some guys will do anything to get away from their wives!

thankful that I have never ever been this close to a real bear!!
This Mom is as cool as a freaking cucumber! How did she NOT flinch when the bear came nearer to them, then returned to eating.
I scream when i see a bug in my kitchen......just sayin.
