Thankful that I had a great dad - today would have been his 91st birthday, but he only lived to 66.

I am thankful no serious tragedies have befallen my family. I just heard of a single mom who got in a car accident and will now likely never walk again, simply because she unbuckled her seatbelt to get her son some juice (she was the passenger in the front seat, not the driver).
I know my parents used to do this constantly, and as kids my sister and I would reach around behind the bench seat in our Ford Bronco to get something out of the cooler in the back on road trips, lay on the seats and not be buckled properly, or otherwise just not be buckled how we should be.
Please everyone, stay buckled, pull over if the kiddos need something, or organize everything to be in reach while driving. It is so necessary, even one moment could cost you your mobility.

I am so thankful that all my tests came out fine and especially my ECG! I am so thankful for every single day I have with my sweet husband who is the rock that I know I can always lean on and that he will always be there to support and protect me.
I am also thankful each day I wake up and know that I can cope through lifes various trials and have an amazing support team in my family and friends
( we have friends that just lost their 17 year old kid to suicide
)

I am thankful that Ethan is still with us, and is growing up to be a very strong, healthy and naughty boy!
At the right time, a kind word from a stranger, or encouragement from a friend, can make all the difference in the world. Kindness is free, but it's priceless. ~ Doe Zantamata
