Good morning, everyone!

Annoyed that yet again the dumptrucks for a city project are idling on my street. It's bad enough that they're breaking the idling by-laws & waking the neighbours that like to sleep past 6am, but the nitwits also block the bus stop, so the buses go past stranding passengers, cause they can't see them. What's worse is that my local politician has the IQ of a tree stump & won't do anything about it.
Trying to find the energy to go out & run some errands this morning. Wish me luck.

Do people really realize what the magnitude of the tragedy in Poland means, I wonder? If this was Air Force One that went down it would be 24/7 on CNN.
It's the equivalent of losing Harper, half the top MP's, the military leaders, my gosh the country could fall into turmoil in the wrong hands.

Patty, I think of course in Poland they do, just as we would were it our own country. What makes it even sadder was that he was a leader the people were totally happy with - something which has sadly escaped them in the past.
We have a large Polish population in my city and in the province, and it's resonating here rather strongly.
