Hey Everyone!

Got back from Los Cabos around 5 a.m. The plane was delayed by a few hours which I was very happy about, meant we could stay until a little after it got dark which was just right. Got to get the most out of the last () day. Had a great trip though, very nice resort with a big one bedroom suite and very nice weather. I love going on trips like that with the palms etc. We could walk to San Jose in twenty minutes and a bus to Los Cabos was only $1 which took 45 minutes. Still thinking about it.

Went on a nice sunset cruise around the arch etc in Los Cabos. They had a really good live band playing on the top level, they played Santana, ZZ top and lots of other good stuff while touring around, then we went down for a 3 course dinner and a bunch of mexican performers. Very nice. Also included all you could drink, pina coladas, margaritas etc and they didn't skimp on them whatsoever!

Good day Q folks!

Well it is finally done. I took down the Christmas tree and decorations today. Was considering calling it my Easter tree.

I still have a "village" set up on the landing coming up my stairs. I keep meaning to take it down but I keep forgetting to get the box from the basement to put it away.... maybe later today....

We're off to NOTL to visit my dad this morning. We may even take a drive to the falls and walk a little. We'll see what the day brings!!

Laughing about the Christmas decorations - this was a first that people are later than us with the Christmas tree and decorations. Had to de-decorate to prepare for the shower I hosted Sat...great turnout despite people travelling through the snow...
Wonderful day on the slopes yesterday.... 6 more sleeps til we head to Le Massif and St.Anne

Up with the birds today - didn't hear them though. Going to meet with my kids, grandson and the dog down at the "beach" for a walk and a frothy coffee at the Remarkable Bean. Enjoy family day everyone.

Good morning, everyone.

Starting to feel human. Let's hope I finally get rid of this cold soon! I promise if I'm the least bit under the weather, I won't infect the masses at the SA.

Ecat, welcome home! I hope you brought souvenirs for your little sidekicks, otherwise I'm sure they will shred something precious of yours (or is it only the kitties I know who do that? ).

This reminds me of the time I went to a fundraiser/soiree/fashion show. When it was suggested I wear a leather skirt to the event, I figured it was a fashion tip. I spent the evening trying to hide from the CityTV cameras (did NOT want my Mommy to see me on the 6 o'clock news at *that* kind of event ).


Gonna spend most of the day back in a comatose state. Better go feed the brats first, before they start their protest serenades.

Had an interesting day yesterday.
Spotted an otter and a bobcat in my travels.
To all you cat-lovers out there , this is a 'real' cat.

Here they're about the size of a medium dog, smaller than a shepherd.
They walk away from you ,although they're certainly not afraid
of you, unless of course you get between them and their food
or their young. Then all bets are off!!
