ridiculously hot. as a result I'm all slow movements and procrastination this morning. exerting as little energy as possible. I've got some work to do in this air conditioned office this morning then it's off to swelter in the hot, hot heat. never thought I'd say this but... mmm, air conditioned office. enjoy everyone, stay hydrated.

Ok so it feels pretty warm here I am sure that is has already exceeded the forecasted 16! Main veggie garden is in. Need to prepare my zuchini bed and a place for cucs and figure on where to stick my onions.

Grrr, the news is showing an interview with a hunter who got mauled by a bear (notice that it's not hunting season!). Thinking the bear was just trying to reduce the level of obnoxious fumes in the area (can you tell I really really dislike the "vicitm"???).

Really? I thought it was only in the fall that one can go hunting for deer.

I had no idea people hunted bear. I'm a total city girl. I went fishing once & cried when I discovered that my new "pet" (kept alive in the bathtub overnight to stay fresh) was meant for dinner the next day (I was 5).
