Today a very good friend came by today to have me sign as a witness for his Canada Pension papers. Sad thing is he is only 50 and in the final stages of prostate cancer. What a terrible disease, he was such a good looking guy and well built, today what I saw was a frail man, barely able to stand/walk. Wow, he was diagnosed at Christmas 2009. He has complain for about a year that he had terrible back pain, when they final diagnosed him it was too late. Therefore, I am thankful today that I only have a broken leg.

Thankful for the support I receive in many ways from my SC friends.

Today I am thinkful that I am not in an abusive relationship. Seeing two married people hate eachother so much just bothers me so much, it's truely soul breaking. I'm so happy that I can stand up for myself if I were ever to be in a situation like that. I am also so thankful that my boyfriend is my rock, my suporter no matter what. i'm so lucky to have found him, we have saved eachother from addition, and will continue to take life one day at a time. <3

Today i'm thankful that my bf is coming home. He's been gone for a month and I'm so happy that I won't have to sleep alone for much longer! <3

Glad I can walk, and sing the praises of my maker in my head while doing so. Taking in the beauty of creation and hearing birds sing their praises.
Making it back from Timmies and meeting new to me neighbours.
Especially thankful Kitty is getting better, as he hasn't been quite right since we were at the wedding.

On this day as everyday I am thankful for my Father. He was smart, funny, reliable and my best friend. Even though it hurts so much now that he is gone, he will always be in my heart and mind.I just hope that whereever he is there are good books to read and a lake to fish in.
