ooh.
I was going to make brown sugar cookies again to take on our trip later this week, DS and DH love them. But the recipe only makes about 30 cookies; if I make them now, they will probably be gone by Wednesday! So I might wait until Wednesday to make them. Might make brownies though.

I'm not positive, but the recipe you are asking for may be using chick pea flour, not the can of beans. Using bean flours has become quite popular, and other than black bean brownies or cake, I can't recall a recipe using canned chick peas in baking. I may be way off base though!

I have to make a cheesecake for work today. A lot of my students are finishing up this week and we are having a little party for them. It's my first time making one.....

Dropping dogs off at the groomers, then making peanut butter cookies for grandson (flourless of coarse), I'm thinking on baking a few loaves of bread too as everyone has been hounding me, but with the weather, my hands are too sore for the kneading. I just can't bring myself to use the stand mixer for my bread yet. Been baking it by hand for over 30 years and find it so therapeutic, I don't want to change. I'll have to play the bread by ear, see how I feel.
Tomorrow is also one of my grandsons 8th birthday so I have a big cake to make. He likes layers of chocolate followed by strawberry than another chocolate so that will be done either today or tomorrow morning. We all need a little sunshine every now and then

I thought I would make a carrot cake with my beloved kitchen aid mixer. So ready, set go....to my shock I discovered that I was a couple carrots short of a cake...........so, I substituted mashed banana. I googled around & learned that people do make Carrot-Banana Cakes, but I didn't care for it. The texture was nice, but I just didn't care for the flavour.
Loocie's baking disaster # 3757.
I am tossing the final 4 cupcakes into the compost for collection tomorrow.

My cheesecake was more a 'cheesecake like' dessert. It tasted good though so I was happy with it.
