Lol no cruise I've never been on one before. Just spending the time in Guadeloupe. During the downtime all I got is some crappy Internet to entertain me and I always need to know what's going on in the world

Are AM limits for groceries still in effect. For example 10 of an offer or 500 AM limit for the 1 offer.
I need to get 1000AM for another free hotel night. I have until March to get it done but just want to know my limits in case I see a good deal.
We are going to Disneyland this spring. I have been able so far to purchase 3 hotel nights and 5x 5-day Disneyland Park Hopper Tickets with my AM's. I used other points cards to get 4 more hotel nights plus $100 in GC's to use. It would be nice to get another night or 2 for free.
Like all us Smart Canuckers I only buy an AM deal if its something we are going to use and is a great deal. I don't waste my money buying high priced items to get AM's. What would be the point.
Thanks in advance for the help. I have already saved almost $4000. Here's to a little more.http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/PinkSapphire. Click to get FREE Giftcards just for searching the web. It is so easy.

Looks like there are blue Friday deals this week. I saw an insert at the checkout but there were no real details.

Anyone know how to change which store you get your 'Get My Offers' for? I always got Safeway and now am suddenly getting Sobey's. I do 90% of my Safeway / Sobeys shopping at Safeway as it is much closer. I only go to Sobey's if I want something that Safeway doesn't carry (my fav. carrots, Arizona iced tea, and Jarritos)

OK, occasionally I'll say something nice about Airmiles.
Dec. 13 ordered a ski pass for a friend heading to Kamloops. It hasn't arrived and they head out this coming weekend.
Instead of emailing, phoning or posting on their FB page decided to use "Live Chat" instead as I've found it good in the past.
Seems they mailed it Dec. 15 and assume it's lost and will refund me the Miles.
Here's the exchange:
Welcome. You are number 5 in line. A specialist will be with you shortly.
Deborah has joined the chat session. Deborah: Hello Robert Deborah: How can I help you? ROBERTG: Hi Deborah. Deborah: Hi ROBERTG: I ordered a SunPeaks Ski Pass on Dec. 13 for my friends. It said 3-6 weeks. It's now over 6 weeks and my friends are leaving Saturday to travel to Kamloops and it hasn't arrived. ROBERTG: Miles

ROBERTG: The site does not give me any details as whether it was shipped or not. Deborah: I understand you are still waiting for the ski passes to arrive. I am so sorry that they haven't yet. I would be happy to look into this for you. Deborah: One moment please ROBERTG: If it doesn't arrive by Friday it cannot be used and I'd like the miles added back to my account thank you. Deborah: Thanks for waiting. The pass was shipped on Dec 15th to:

Deborah: I can only assume they were lost in the mail. ROBERTG: According to Xxx it hasn't arrived. Deborah: I understand, sometimes things do go missing. Robert, please apologize on our behalf. I have requested a refund for you. It should be on your account in up to 5 business days ROBERTG: Thank you Deborah. Amazing how much better AirMiles is at customer service through Live Chat than by phone or on the Facebook page. Much appreciated. Deborah: Thanks for saying that. We are all long term employees on chat so that makes a bit of a difference, I think! Deborah: I was glad to help Deborah: Enjoy your day. ROBERTG: TX, I will now. You have a great day too. Deborah: Thanks

Booked our flights to Seattle for the Blue Jays series in June... with the 25% discount, and inflated rates due to limited onyx seats left, it was 1530 AM each, YEG to SEA, plus about $140 in taxes each. Direct flights through Delta. I'm excited! Now we need to book somewhere to stay though. I looked at the hotels through airmiles and there was no way!
Man, between 3 flights RT to Toronto last spring, 1 RT to Victoria, 2 next month to Montreal, and 2 to Seattle in June, I'd better start hitting the deals again! So 8 RT's in a 14 month span, totalling around 10,000 AM (first 6 were before we got the AM master card with the 25% discount) and earned about 8500 for the year. And people claim AM's aren't worth it...
Oh, and the redemption value on this one was 20.16c per AM, so $20 per 100 AM.
