    Less the $7 in AMs effectively 5 = $2 or $0.40 apiece.
There are $1 coupons for eggos found in the freezer aisle in a booklet!!
[THAT would be a steal! lol, we might endup with eggos for breakfast!]

Aaaannnd... there are $2 eggos coupons on the back of cereal boxes! lol, I'm getting eggos for FREE this week! WAhoooo!!

Is anyone able/willing to post the coupons to print off?
For the past two weeks I have been unable to open the pdfs, and i'm getting quite upset about missing potential am deals!!

If they're not able to be posted, if someone was willing to email them to me I would be very appreciative!

Why don't you reinstall the acrobat reader?

Duracell batteries in my opinion is a good deal,
For 15.98 you can get 16 of the coppertop batteries ($1 each)
minus 2x 75c off coupons from brandsaver if you have them... =14.48
minus the value of the airmiles (75x.14)
    = 3.98, or 24.9 cents each

here are some good dealsfrom the airmiles booklet... they are good buys especially if you cant make it to the $100 mark to get your bonus 100 AM.

    1.
    4x pepsi (6x700ml) $16 -50AM = $9 or .053 per 100ml (normal is about .08-.09/100ml)

    2.
    2x Bountry (6 packs) $16 - 50AM = $9 -2x 50c coupons from brandsaver = $8

    3.
    2x Febreeze Air Effects $6 - 20 AM = 3.20 - 2x 1.00 bransaver coupon from brandsaver = $1.20.

    4.
    3x Pantene prodcuts (i think just shampoo) - $12 - 30 AM = $7.80 - 2x .75 coupon from brandsaver = 6.30

With the brandsaver coupons you will be charged $45.50 for these 4 items
buy another $55 in groceries and use the 100AM bonus with the spend $100 and you will have recieved 250 AM, in other words these items will have only cost you $10.50

Decided to look at a couple of offers:

    1. Last week the coupon book had Purex TP $9.99 each B2G50 on 30single/ 15 dbl. rolls

    Effectively that was $9.99 - $3.50 = $6.49 each

    This week 24/12 rolls are B3G60 @ $6.99 each.

    Effectively that's $6.99 - $2.80 = $4.19 each

However, last week was 30/15 vs. this week's 24/12 so you have to reduce last week's price by 20% to get equivalent effective value: $6.49 x 0.8 = $5.19

People who bought last week paid more.

Shows how you have to be very careful with the 50AM Extreme Specials. I find very few of them worth it.

    2. Orange Juice

This week's flyer has Minute Maid 1.89L at 2 for $7 or $3.50 each.

The coupon book has Tropicana 946ml at 2 for $6

    2 Tropicana ( $6)= 1 Minute Maid ($3.50) in size

    The Tropicana has a coupon in the book for B2G20 so effectively the Tropicana = $6 - $2.80 (20 x .14) = $3.40

The Tropicana is barely a better deal than the Minute Maid $3.40 vs. $3.50

However, if you use AMs for items less than $0.14/AM such as Shell fuel you're better off buying Minute Maid.

My own personal opinion is that the coupon book is of very dubious value collecting AMs unless you have other product coupons you can use with it.

Sheesh! I'm on a roll today.

Happened to be a Safeway today and came across some B4G$4 on Pepsi/Quaker product coupons. They don't work with this week's B4G50AMs on the Pepsi @ $3.99 each but the same product was $3.77 at Zellers next door.

    That's $0.22 each or $0.88 on 4 giving about a $7 - $0.88 = $6.12 advantage to Safeway AirMiles considered on the same product.

Another of possible value are Johnsonville Breakfast Sausages B3G25AMs @ $3.99 each.

There are B2G$1 coupons on them out there so you could get them done to $3.49 each.

    3 = $10.47 - $3.50 AMs = $6.97 or approx. $2.33 each effectively.

Maple Leaf Bacon @ $4.99 B2G15 is so so. There are $1 coupons bringing them to $3.99 each

    2 = $7.98 - $2.10 in AMs = $5.88 or $2.94 each effectively

    Pantene @ $3.99 B3G30

There are B2G$2.50 coupons bringinging them to $2.74 each - $1.40 AMs = $1.34 effectively.

But again, IMO most Booklet offers are of dubious value unless you've got product coupons.

    Hi there,
I'm wondering if you know how this works - I just got a "gift" 5x the airmiles, do you know if I can use this with the get 100 airmiles when you spend $100 that starts Saturday?
    Thanks

    Rocky,

Your 5Xs is likely a "base mile" offer.

With most credit cards you get 1 AM/$20 spent.

    On $100 that would be 5 AMs. So 5Xs = 5 x 5 = 25 AMs.

Not counting any other AMs in your purchase spending $100 would get you 100 + 25 = 125 with the 5X offer not 5 x 100.

I have a 1 AM/$10 card but am not sure whether I'd get 50 AMs instead of 25.

    ALERT:

Just got back from Safeway where I availed myself of the 5 frozen foods offer. I didn't notice Safeway had put their "Eating Right" similar products next to the Lean Cuisine leap-frogging items on the shelf. I grabbed Eating Right by mistake as the packaging is so similar.

The cost was/is the same. When I noticed I took them back to customer service, exchanged and had them credit the 50AMs by hand.

    All told:

2 Simple Pleasures cookies (2 for $6 minus two $0.50 coupons) 15 AMs (or was it 10?)
    2 Maple Leaf bacon ($4.99 each minus 2 $1 coupons) 15 AMs???
    3 Eggos ($6) + 2 Lean Cuisine ($6) 50 AMs
    3 Pantene (3 x $3.99 = $11.97 - 3.50 coupons) 30 AMs

Plus 3 AMs from my credit card.

    $34 + 113 AMs (approx. value $15.84)
