Sad to say but she is not the first nor the last women to be stoned to death.
In college I did a 100 page report on women rights and there was a chapter in there on stoning of women. There are appeals daily but it will not help.
I remember when I was writing my report, there was an appeal at the time for a 19 yr old girl whose fathers colleague had rapped her and she was the one being stoned bc she apparently let it happen.

Its very sad but I doubt there is much anyone can do...these countries have been doing this for generations.

As Vee says, unfortunately for some cultures/religions(?) it's their practice.

The bible dictates that adulterers must be put to death, it's nothing new.

In the report I did a few years back about a 19 yr old girl who was rapped by her fathers coworker..she was stoned to death bc they said she provoked the rape meanwhile he got nothing...gah aggravating isnt it!

the thing is they are supposed to have 4 witnesses, which isn't possible in most cases. not enough witnesses, throw the case out. (even if they were actually screwing around)

i don't know the details of these cases we hear in the news, but it seems pretty messed up.
