I've been keeping Busy! Could use your opinions on Post 28 :)

While awaiting all of my darn tests/results, I've decided to take up some crafting again oh and puzzles lol Here are a few of the items I've painted in the last 2 days to keep my hands and mind busy.



The Christmas Ornaments I've decided to attach to gifts this year and you'll notice a name on the bear which is one of my nephews. I want to do personalized ornaments for my neices & nephews this year so that they have their own ornaments to hang on their tree.

Thanks guys! Like I said it's to keep me occupied, and that big piece was about 6 hrs straight so it's working haha. I warned my family that they might all be getting crafts for Christmas this year since I need something to do to fill the time lol.

Sassy there are a lot of Christmas things out but I've actually seen some Fall Crafts that are really nice as well.

You did a really nice job. I used to paint them all the time. All the stores used to have tons of choices to pick from and now they only have a few and I don't find most of them very nicy or they are wood and I don't like painting the wood ones that much.

Those ornaments will make great memories years from now when they're hanging them up on the tree and look back at when they got them. I look at all the ornaments I made at school years back and think of that the same way !

Thank you, I actually purchased them all at Michaels. They had a 50% off coupon in their flyer this week and that bigger piece was regular $10.99 so I grabbed it for $5.49. It came unfinished but I will post a picture below of what it looks like before paint. And yes I bought 2 to paint so I still have to one play with LOL It's a really neat project though because you have to paint the gazeebo and than glue it together but the ducks were a pain in the BUTT because they are so small! You have to glue the ducks to the "ice" after they are dried as well but it was fun. And although it says 8+ so don't worry I just squeezed through




pac182, when White Rose was in the city I use to LOVE shopping there and although Michaels has a nice selection I find their selection isn't as good as White Roses was. Michaels redeeming quality though is they have their weekly 40% off coupon lol

mle, I'm hoping they like them and know that it was something I did to get me through a difficult time.

I have been inspired, unfortunately I am not that talented when it comes to painting ornaments!!! I may have to take a peek at Micheals to check these out! thanks!!!
