Vee, thanks for the recipe - I have copied it!
Full disclosure/confession -- I bought a crockpot over a year ago and haven't used it yet. Duh... I'm home all day, so I just cook 'normal', lol, with stove and oven.

So I sure feel for you!
I'm sorry but only men can nap on command. I've seen my BF fall asleep as he was brushing his teeth and make it to bed by pure instinct.

If you nap while baby naps (if you're so lucky) who does laundry? Who cooks? Who gets groceries done?

Mine's at a point where he doesn't want to be bothered when he plays so I can be on here a bit (while sitting next to him of course... I moved the computer to the floor... ouch my back) but the minute he's asleep in the afternoon I'm doing what I've been putting off (well some of it)

My house is so chaotic right now I'd be embarrassed to have my MIL over and she's a true hoarder. I think she'd notice the mess.

Don't worry, I won't tell it to go anywhere. Supposedly, it's not supposed to stay, should only be around a few days. Ha, we'll wait and see how accurate that is. But, sometimes it has happened, we get a few 'scares' like this til the real snow comes to stay....

Oy, could you imagine letting the critters loose in the fridge? Well, considering what is in ours right now, the cats couldn't care less - Taffy might lap up some of the leftover sarma broth, and go for the ham slices. Pepsi would just make a mess for the sheer pleasure of it, and play with any plastic bags in there.

I don't nap. If I am tired enough to fall asleep, I'm out for a few hours. Patty can do the 5-10 minute thing but not me. I have a 2 hour nap once or twice a year.

Patty's like Wonderwoman though... if you compare yourself to her in regards to everything she does in a day we all look lazy LOL. I know I couldn't do it.

Off to the post office and then to find a tye-dye shirt for Kevin. Why do they always change their minds about what costume they want to wear after I bought a perfectly good one already(he picked it too). Note to self buy some Halls while at Pharmaprix.

Yippee, I got an excuse to put off chores. Must go help out at the theatre in a little while.

Like I need any excuse to avoid housework.
