Yeah, Zumba is pretty good, I think.
The past week, I've only been able to do 10 minutes a night (DD hates me exercising, for some reason??).
So I do the first 5 minutes, then repeat it (it's the most intense, the rest of the video doesn't even make me sweat a drop).
And I do jumping jacks while watching TV, so I'm not just sitting.

Glad to hear you're seeing such success! With your daughter, is there a way you could get her to dance along to Zumba or participate with you?? Maybe if she can get up and moving a little bit with the music she won't be as resistant to it. I remember being a wee tot (probably around 4 or so) and dancing along with my Grandma when we went to her house. Grandma had some aerobics videotapes - back in the days before DVDs and PVRs - and she would get my sister and me to 'dance' along with her and turn her workouts into a little dance party for us all. I don't know if your DD would be up for that, but it might be worth a try - especially if she gets a little reward of some sort afterward
Good luck and congratulations on your weight loss so far!!

You are so right about letting people know, OP.
I think that is why Weight Watchers is successful - you are accountable to a group.
Rooting for you!

I've tried that. The problem with the Zumba is she wants me to pick her up. I can't hold her while doing Zumba, too much jumping lol.
But other stuff, she'll do with me. There's this exercise I found for abs, where you lie down, lift just your butt off the floor and point your toes to the ceiling, she likes that one lol.

Well, I just wanted to rave: I am officially back down to a HEALTHY weight!! Still 4.5lbs ore until I reach what I was when I got pregnant with DD..but still, happy!!
So, I've reached my FIRST goal, now I just need to make it down to 115lbs (slightly more than what I was when I got married). Less than 35lbs to go.
