Hello All
I just had a weird experience with the q site.
I entered the WW "Bolero" and submitted and it awarded 1,000 points, I then went back to Listen and win to enter my 11:15 word and it showed the UK WW again, so I entered it again and it awarded me another 1,000 points, went back to listen and win and it was there again, I repeated this 4 times before it finally cleared, in total I got 3,000 extra points.
Anyone ever have something like that happen to them?

Nossir; but this morning, when I clicked on each BONUS SITE, they
seemed to take longer than usual to load; then when I refreshed the page,
I'd only gotten credit for three of them!!!
Went back and redid the missing eight sites, and received credit. Weird.
Nice day out, though!!!

[quote=Kells;1643355]Happy Friday All:
It's been a crazy busy week at work. I have been downtown Toronto all week and can't wait to get back to my office space in Markham......this downtown travelling is for the birds and the people are rude and always in a rush and don't even say good morning....shhhhhsssss
I have to come downtown every day, mind you I take the GO train which is a little better than the TTC however I agree with you 100% about the rudeness of the people. I often say to them I'm sorry I forgot I took my invisible pills this morning and you can't see me as they bump into me and not say sorry.

A Friday Funny for ya all!
A middle-aged businessman took a young woman half his age as his wife.
The fantasy of having a young woman in his bed soon became a nightmare
when he found that he could not last long enough to satisfy his young
bride.
His wife, as understanding as she was exciting, told him that all was
well even if he was quick to get out of the saddle.
Determined to satisfy this sweet young thing, the man visited the
doctor to get some advice.
"Doctor, I can't seem to hold back for very long when I make love to
my young wife and I can't satisfy her. What can I do?"
The doctor smiled, patted him on the shoulder, and said in a
professional manner, "Try a bit of self-stimulation before having
intercourse with your wife and you'll find that you'll last longer and
ultimately satisfy her."
"Okay, Doctor. If you think that will help."
Later that afternoon, his young bride called him at work to let him
know that she would be attacking him at the front door when he arrived
home.
"Be prepared, my darling. I'm going to ravish you," she cooed over
the phone.
Undaunted, the man decided to follow the doctor's advice. But where?
In the office? The Xerox room? What if someone walked in on him?
He got in his truck and began the journey home. Soon he decided he
would find a spot on the road to pull over, climb underneath the truck
and pretend to be inspecting the rear axle, and do the deed there.
A moment later, he pulled over, crawled beneath the truck, closed his
eyes tightly, fantasized about his young wife, and began his
"therapy".
A few minutes later, just as he was about to complete his therapy
session, he felt someone tugging on his pants leg. Keeping his eyes
tightly shut to avoid ruining the fantasy he was enjoying, he said,
"Yes?"
"Sir, I'm with the Police Department. Could you tell me what you are
doing, please?" said the officer.
"Yes, officer, I'm inspecting my truck's rear axle," he replied
confidently.
"Well, why don't you check the brakes while you're down there. Your
truck rolled down the hill a few minutes ago."

Hasbro, owners of MONOPOLY, has launched a nationwide vote to find our nation’s 22 favourite cities to be included on the new MONOPOLY Canada game board! They have pre-selected 65 great Canadian cities to compete for 20 coveted spots. The final two spots are to be filled by a wildcard vote that follows the national vote.
For this new edition of MONOPOLY, you have an opportunity to vote for our favourite city to appear on the final game board for a MONOPOLY edition to truly call our own.
Cast your ballot each day from now until February 7, 2010. Visit www.monopolyvote.ca and vote for Brampton. You must visit the website, create a profile, and login each day to vote. You are only allowed to vote once per day during the contest period. You can also view the leader board at this site to see how we are doing.
The cities voted onto the final game board will be announced in June 2010. The new MONOPOLY Canada Edition will be launched on Canada Day, July 1, 2010 and available in stores prior to launch.

Could you be thinking of when they played at the Masonic Temple on Yonge Street, near Yorkville? They played there in the late 60's. I remember hearing just before they were to go on when everyone was waiting they said unless they were paid more money they wouldn't play! Anyway, I think thats what you must mean, the Mynah Byrd would be pretty small for a band like that. Iron Butteryfly played the Masonic too.
