This is getting old.
So old in fact that I am beginning to dread coming on and am really close to taking my bat and ball and going somewhere else.
I know that'll make the other "sleuthers" happy
But I don't want to as so many people on here are wonderful.
I don't generally participate in many discussions as I don't have an interest (or time), but I do read them and many make me smile. Some, I just shake my head at, but at least let other be intitled to their opinions, even if I don't agree.
Some people's constant negativity, is really a downer.
Lighten up folks. Life it too short!!

I'm trying a new Chili recipe today that is purported to be superior. I'm not superstitious so I try to do my culinary experimentation when company is coming.

Not to superimpose my views, but for those of you who may consider that counterintuitive (ie what if the recipe falls flat?), I say: with good friends and superabundant mouths to feed, perfection is not supercritical.

I'm not being supercilious or superficial. If the results are not super, the food will still be gone and you won't be stuck with left-overs. On the other hand, if it turns out superbly, you've got a great supervening recipe for next year's Grey Cup Party!! Besides, chili is not supersophisticated fare.

Just hope it's not superconductive and everyone enjoys it while watching the superstars of the gridiron!

Now I must go and supervise the kitchen activities. Cross your fingers for a superlative result for Guy Fieri's Dragon's Breath Chili.
