What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

Okay, I wish I could say I was sorry I started this but I'm not, since it is technically Classic Rock related. Assuming the audience are all on dates, we will go with a 50/50 split of men and women (same sex couples assumed also to be 50/50). Therefore we have 50% of the audience with 7 natural orifices and 50% with 8 (check your anatomy and/or that of a friend). So that becomes 9,000 x 7.5 = 67,500 holes to fill the Albert Hall. No allowance for stomas or ileostomies; performers and staff not included.

Got this from Wikipedia re A Day in the Life:
"
The final verse was inspired by an article in the Daily Mail in January 1967 regarding a substantial number of potholes in Blackburn, a town in Lancashire. However, he had a problem with the words of the final verse, not being able to think of how to connect "Now they know how many holes it takes to" and "the Albert Hall". His friend Terry Doran suggested that they would "fill" the Albert Hall.[4]
