Hi, no the work was not for candy .. generally for me, if I post anything it's about me doing something at the server level. I don't usually touch the way the site works or the look/feel of it, I'm more the behind the scenes guy. Today's work was a related to a migration of the database for the forum.

well i missed the downtime AND the jays beat the phillies in the bottom of the 10th inning.. it was a good day

Sorry if this has been posted before.In trying to "like" a post this morning, I get a pop up that says, "an error occurred." and I'm unable to like their post, even with continually refreshing the page.Any suggestions?

And this post was just smushed together, even though I left two double line spaces after the first sentence and before the last!?!?

Update: finally after 10+ attempts I was able to give a "like" but now what's with the squished posts ^?

I was able to start the maintenance procedure earlier than expected, at 5 AM and luckily things proceeded with no issues or delays. Maintenance is done now, and it only took 29 minutes. The site will not be going down again today (for the predicted 6-10 AM/7-11AM time slot) - thanks for your understanding earlier with the longer anticipated down time but we're good to go! Happy Saturday!! Happy forum!

Why do we still have that "My Activity" page still showing up?

Can't we not just get rid of it?

It is a feature that we don't use & it hasn't been updated in many weeks.

I noticed yesterday that the "watch tv online" spammers are now putting the links in their signature rather than their normal (more obvious) way. Don't they have anything better to do with their time? Sheesh.

Just a few minutes ago I couldn't get onto the forum with Chrome... kept getting a Dlink router error saying the server address may have changed.... but I could access the forum using IE

I am trying to enter the contest on the main page and my page will not scroll over enough to show where to put in my information and comments. I never had this problem before the changes

YES!! I thought it was just me! When I click the back arrow noting happens it just stays on that same page. But if I click the little wee arrow besides it, it shows www staticacfacebookcom blah blah blah . Very frustrating. I dont have a FB account but DH does and it hardley gets used

It's definitely an issue with SC site, as I don't have this problem on any other site....hope it gets fixed soon.
Frustrating as you have to scroll to the top and then go back to whatever forum, etc you were in and start all over again....,
