Also, a small but annoying feature. When you reply to a PM, in order to insert smilies etc, you have to use "go advanced". Previously they were available without the added step.

Hi everyone!

Sorry about the delay in fixes. Boo has been busy with very important stuff lately, and I have been locked out of the server since last weekend. So in that time no improvements were able to be made. Access has been restored now, and we can finally make this forum everything it once was, plus some!

Re: missing search results
The cause of this may be from some modifications made last weekend that we ended up having to revert. In the meantime, you try using google with this as your search query "site:forum.smartcanucks.ca [what you're looking for]" if the built-in search isn't working well enough. Your posts/threads are still there - don't worry!

Re: load times and poor page performance
Before I was locked out, I was focusing on optimizing the forum. It appears I may have missed some chances to trim the fat. Making the site run well for everyone is my top priority and I appreciate all of the detailed information you've all been posting! Typically this wouldn't be an issue, but the forum was launched so suddenly and without warning (due to the hacking incident) that we were unable to fully test the forum as much as we would have liked.

Yay for hopefully getting rid of that dialogue box about leaving/staying on the page. SO very frustrating, especially since the bypass flood posting thingee isn't working.

Yeah, I may be a bit impatient, but I also type quickly, so sometimes it's hard to wait that 10 seconds. Or when reporting a post, to wait much longer....

Usually I get the message to try again in 5 seconds, for example - but I got one today which was so funny - forum requires that you wait 10 seconds between posts, try again in 16 seconds. LOL!

I would love to see the itrader search working again. I owe people trade ratings and I can't rate them through the PM's because they were deleted.

Also, in the Arcade, I am in about 3 or 4 tournaments that seem to have just frozen. No one is advancing, and the scores say zero.

maybe we could make short replies here now with priority (not just wish we had stuff) items that can be put into a new thread as action items so Boo/Ryan/Krypto (if he is still around?) can find easily without reading all the chatter in this thread?

- Searches working (itrader user search, find all threads by, general search)
- Are you sure you want to leave page dialogue
- Lag on site
- Some users still getting logged out constantly


Other Issues

- Bring back Memberlist (currently shows white page)
- Flood Bypass (part of candyland)
- PMs to open in new tab/window as default
- Smilies box less wide so it does not stretch past page on netbooks
- Smilies on PMs without clicking Advanced
- Clickable links in trading section of 'about me' pages
