    These "type" of guys need a garage. . . or should I say their WIVES need them to have a garage! My DH's garage is his "room/man-cave" He can make as much mess as he wants there. . .

    My dad, a few years ago, well into his 60s was putting the water in at his summer place. He drove a screwdriver through his hand. Seriously, not a scratch or something, it went in between two fingers and was pushing the skin up at the back of his hand about 2 inches from the entrance. What did he do? Grabbed some paper towel to staunch the blood, and finished what he was doing - about another hour of work. Then he went to the hospitsl to get stitched up.

    Yes, we guys are fundamentally flawed in a lot of ways. If his wife had been there he would have been off to the hospital immediately. But I guess you ladies can't take care of us 24/7, even though that's what we need.
