Has anyone ever torn coupons while taking them off the tearpads?

Is it ok to just tape it and use it?

How about tape it and trade it? Would you be upset if you received a taped coupon as a trade? Would it in anyway devalue the coupon (in a trade)?

I personally wouldn't be very happy if I received a taped coupon in a trade. I would mention it to the trader before hand so that they can decide whether or not they want it.

OP. I wouldn't mind a taped one in a trade but I would want to know first. I'd ask the trader for a photo maybe of how badly the tape is needed. Taped money is fine so I'd assumed a taped coupon is ok too.

I was just about to post asking about stained coupons. One of my $10 Aerius got extremely stained yesterday and part of the wording is illegible. Do you think they'd accept it if I use my identical one at the same time?

    I have taped numerous coupons.
I make an effort to make sure it is complete ( ie no missing parts) and is decently aligned.
There has never been a problem redeeming them.

I've used taped coupons before with no problems. I would want to know about any ripped/taped coupons in a trade first

i think it would depend on where the coupon was torn close to the expiry date and it might be thought that you where trying to change the date( cut off the old, and try to tape on a new one) anywhere else and i dont see it as a problem. I actually ripped some the other day but it was at the top and there was no printing there just tapped it back up. When I first started couponing I did cut the expiry dates off by mistake when cutting the coupons I just threw them out.
