The REAL difference between Cats n Dogs via Meet the Parents lol
Jack Byrnes: Greg, how come you don't like cats?
Greg Focker: I don't not like cats. I-I just - I just prefer dogs. I mean, I'm just more of a dog kind of, you know. Come home, wagging their little tails, happy to see you kind of...
Jack Byrnes: You need that assurance, do you? You prefer an emotionally shallow animal?
Greg Focker: I...
Jack Byrnes: You see, Greg, when you yell at a dog, his tail will go between his legs and cover his genitals, his ears will go down. A dog is very easy to break, but cats make you work for their affection. They don't sell out the way dogs do.

Sell out?!! I beg to differ, Jack! Dogs do not sell out....they understand every human's need for love, affection, acceptance...it's not shallow...it's deeply rooted.
A cat could give a rat's a$$.

I've had cats - now I have dogs - loved them both - some cats would play "catch" or "fetch" some wouldn't - one dog plays "catch and run away" the other plays "catch and bring it- but I'm NOT giving it to YOU!"
One cat would go asleep lying across my chest/neck - one dog goes to sleep wrapped around my shoulders.
One cat could jump straight up on top of my shoulder (or the fridge) - one dog jumps straight up in the air (when we come home) about 5 ft.
All my cats were very quiet except for purring! One of my dogs "purrs" but both are very noisy - especially when we come home.
I locked one of my cats in a linen closet for a weekend (Unintentionally) - no "mistakes"
I didn't let one of my dogs out on time once and as Lynn49's doxxie said, "Glad you're home - someone pooped in the hall!"
Missing my doggies right now - couldn't pick them up from the sitters until tomorrow - mix in communication!
