We usually travel up north to be with my family but since my mom is leaving today (she has been here a few days) we will stay in the GTA and have a bbq at home, relax and watch fireworks from our balcony.

I will be enjoying the long weekend by doing some yardwork and catching up on my sleep.
Sleeping is actually #1 because I have been sooooo tired this week. I took two naps yesterday (a grand total of 90+ minutes), went to bed early yesterday, and still don't feel 100%. I am hoping some time lounging around will make the difference I need!!
DH's extended family are having a big barbecue up in cottage country on the 30th. He is going solo because I've just been too tired and I'm just too much of an introvert to do a BBQ with 30+ people in 30C+ weather when I'm not feeling 100%. Also, his Mum has a plan to make a big announcement about my pregnancy to the group to get maximum attention. Needless to say, I don't want to be anywhere near there (aren't Mothers-in-law great?!?)I will let DH deal with all that hoo-haw by himself.
We will probably go see Kim Mitchell (free concert in Kanata) on the 1st as that just sounds like some good Canadian fun. We try to avoid downtown as it's just too many people
Have a great weekend, everyone!!!

Not leaving until Monday, but I'm taking 1 of my grandchildren and going camping, heading up to the lake. Cabin is all cleaned and ready for the season, rv is also cleaned and ready. Soooo, I just get to relax and enjoy my grandson
Dh will be up for a few days but he has to go back to USA to bring up another rv for a dealer (he is always so very busy in the spring and begining of the summer) so it should just be the 2 of us for the most part.
I plan on doing a lot of relaxing, taking him to the waterpark,, beach and maybe even a little shopping. There is a fabulous farmers market up at the lake. The nice thing about not going up till Monday is hopefully it won't be as crazy as it will be on the weekend.
Where ever everyone is going,or staying....please be so careful on the highways. So much traffic and a lot of people are in such a hurry. Have a safe, great long weekend everyone! We all need a little sunshine every now and then
