Details about motive were still unclear and besides why should the PM comment on every crime that occurs in Canada. Oh wait their names were Mohammed.

I don't know what their motives were, Patty. I was able to find out a bit by surfing around - so much wrong info out there though. I know these two are Somali refugees and that there is a problem with Somali gang related violence in Calgary. I found this thread with folks from all viewpoints discussing this incident.

What I find personally uncomfortable is I feel I can't trust what I'm reading from the media anymore., or trust what law enforcement and elected officials say anymore. I mean, I always knew there was bias and I always kept that in mind, but it seems to have worsened. The more right wing news organizations will scream terrorism before the facts are in, and the mainstream (supposedly unbiased) and the left news organizations will fall over themselves not to mention terrorism at all until they absolutely have to. Same with law enforcement and government. It seems they're trying to keep information from us. For our own good, I guess.

2016 is not off to a good start.

This is not a partisan political issue...it is an issue about keeping our children and families safe. Classes in how to treat women, how about not to steal, or assault others? This is a universal moral code of human beings not something that should need to be taught.

That quote is entirely about the Nazis and the Holocaust. The Jews are mentioned third because they were the biggest group and that's when the crimes of the Nazis hit their height.

Well just remember, it is global warming that is causing all of this, because the Middle East is being baked to a crisp, and in Syria an extended drought drove farmers to abandon their lands and migrate to the cities where strife and civil war ensued. ISIS rose up amidst this chaos, and migrants from drought stricken areas all over the Middle East are heading for the free trough in sympathetic Europe.

If global warming isn't addressed, world leaders said in France, we can expect what is happening in the Middle East and Europe on a global scale.
