I think she means more like enough is enough already, as in the deaths, not the posting.
On a brighter note a dear friend of mine had a baby on Sunday but we lost a long time family friend last week to cancer. Blech f-ing cancer.
I wonder if there are any studies about January and deaths?

Patty, sorry to hear of the passing but it's always nice to hear of a birth.
Did a quick googling of studies - couldn't find Can. data, but in US it's Jan - mostly attributed to more deaths of elderly because of flu, pneumonia, etc. - or just seasonal - winter

I loved the music from The Eagles. I loved that '70s era and they were one of the groups that really defined that time. The created so many of my favorite songs.
There's a movie about them on Netflix called The Eagles.

I got fooled by that link at BBC too yesterday. It was with other current stories for some reason. I clicked it thinking 'what? I thought he died years ago...?' which he did.
BBC is saying now that the rumour he had just died started on the internet somewhere and as a result it pushed their old story into the 'most read' category on their website making it seem current.

I loved him on Barney Miller. My parents actually recorded tapesfull of barney Miller episodes, on betamax. I think that betamax and the tapes still work. They're at my Dad's summer cabin and the last time we had them out was about 5 summers ago.
Interesting we just had the Leslie Neilson mixup and Abe Vigoda's death has been wrongly reported multiple times over the years.

He was in his 50s during his Barney Miller Years and looked like he was in his 80s. Makeup, acting and his unique look, I guess.
RIP.

Paul Kantner, Co-Founder Of Jefferson Airplane, Dies At 74
Paul Kantner, who co-founded the psychedelic-rock group Jefferson Airplane and helped define the San Francisco sound in the 1960s with songs such as "Somebody to Love," has died. He was 74.
The guitarist and singer died Thursday following a heart attack earlier in the week
When the group fell apart in the early 1970s, Kantner co-founded Jefferson Starship and stayed until 1984.
Jefferson Airplane was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, and this spring, the band will receive a Grammy award for lifetime achievement.
