Unfortunately, I can think of rumors that my own family members tried to start about me.... the one that takes the cake is my own brother (idiot...) that wanted to start a rumor about me hooking up with some dude over the summer years ago (dude is a lifelong friend of mine who was dating my first cousin). He saw me in my friends car, but neglected to mention my cousin was sitting with him in the front seat. At least my DH knows me well enough to see that it was total BS. Its just pathetic, and sad....
