Hating my new job not even two weeks into it.

Can the Universe give me an idea where my USB key is? Last seen Monday afternoon. No luck at one store, the library or by retracing my steps. wondering if I could have been really clever and hid it and just forgot where.

I kept seeing the USB key in my mind all Tuesday when I reached for it in my bag and did not find it (three searches).

Today I was at a thing that had one bathroom stall and a huge long line. Everyone waited a really long time to get in and then I barely locked the door when it was my turn and someone starts knocking on the door. FOUR times I said that it's occupied.

I don't take a long time in the bathroom.

So when I go outside there's this woman there giving me a dirty look and I tell her that one knock was enough and she didn't have to knock over and over. Then she yells at me because her tiny son had to pee

Yeah because I pee faster if you try to break the door down. Have some respect

I tell ya, this millennial generation has such a sense of peeviledge, don't they? Always think that they or their babies get to pee first.Sheesh! (Just teasing)

Good to know as I have not yet looked at Twitter today. Was busy thinking how to get this laptop to work on power cord
again as at night laptop seems to run on battery (and I notice the low battery pop up and go WHAT? Took
the cover off and dusted parts. Working computer.
However last night and this morning, I was thinking of dropping laptop off at an electronics collection event next week-if only a few files could be put on the other USB stick first.

I have a head cold. DS has a...... something.... it's not strep, not a cold, definitely not the flu. Mom always has to suck it up to take care of the smaller sickies. Oh well, it's worth it when he says 'thanks for taking care of me, mom.'

Just a dog I passed on the street walking home from taking dd to school. It was trying to get to the dog a few feet in front of it and I guess it decided that my knee looked like a good snack lol.
I couldn't have picked a more seasonally appropriate scar lol.
