yeah its pan asian as well...I just say Thai lol BUT I hate the massive amount of cilantro they use in there pad thai...I like cilantro but in small quantities

bub, sounds like my next-oldest sister. She's perfected snarky over the years! I used to get really defensive and/or mouthy around her, but finally my husband made me see how very toxic she is and I've really limited contact with her. Frankly, my life has been MUCH more tranquil.
Still love her, but really dislike her.

its stuff like

"oh what a nice dress! your husband must have picked it out"
"oh your hair is good today! must be because you are FINALLY growing it out"
"men like it when you fix yourself up. make your husband happy put on makeup... and heels"

ok seriously enough already it's ALWAYS something like that.

sometimes i don't know if it's even worth saying anything

i'm pretty sure i've had the "just let me be me" conversation before.

it's not like i'm a horrible person! i'm happily married to a good man, i'm a good mom and my kids love me and are good boys ...

my house is not a museum no and i don't wear a full face of makeup or 5 inch heels every day but my hubby loves me bc i like converse and bc i take 5 mins to get ready not 3 hours ... and honestly when will it end?!

it's like ... i survived 10 years of a lot of hellish days, i stepped up and found a man who is crazy about me ... but i still have all my memories. my kids are still affected esp the older one, my life is full of stress and trying to undo all the damage his father did to him and all the bad habits he picked up, i've had incessant stomach troubles since my honeymoon and i don't need to hear "oh you've lost weight!" me: yeah bc i can't eat since the honeymoon it sucks ... "oh that's great!" ,... why because the size 8 i used to be was so huge?!

... i need positivity not constant snarks
