Good morn!
Have been moving for hours, just not here.
I think we have a two hour time difference now...
Not sure what the day will bring for me, yet.
High of 18 forecasted - will be a record if it gets there.
BUT snow in a few days, so back to 'regular spring'.

Good morning, my Chatters!!
I've had a sore throat for the past couple of days and hoped it would be better this morning, but nope...I even forced myself to drink a couple of glasses of wine last night hoping it would help! Funny, though....it helped as I was sipping it!Hubby and I caught up on a few Father Brown shows we pvr'd.
Amira, we're flying to Washington DC next week because I've always wanted to see the Cherry Blossom Festival there, and since our DD continues to gush over the Smithsonian's Museum of American History and the Museum of Natural History as well as the Vietnam and WW11 Memorials and Lincoln's statue at night, lol, we just had to go!We've booked grandstand seats for the parade since I'd not be able to stand for that length of time, so lots to do. Oh! And visit Macy's, too, of course!! My second home wherever we roam...
I'm guessing it may be a little embarrassing going through those airport security things, though...setting off those alarms because of the plate and screws implanted below my knee...I'm not exactly sure how that will go...
We're staying at the Churchill Hotel just north of the White House...we wanted a hotel with "history", not a brand new shiny one that could be found anywhere....same thing we did in Rome...we wanted a B&B to experience "living" there and boy did we luck out!!! It was amazing!
Wow...I do go on, don't I?Oh, and Amira...we're all grown-ups and are quite capable of making our own decisions as to whether or not to purchase things...the decisions were theirs to make and I'm betting no one feels you're responsible for their decisions to purchase make-up, lol...don't give it a second thought, Hon!!
Nat, do you recall that old movie, "The Secret of NIHM"? Well, our DD still contends that the 'crow' is absolutely me! I can still hear Dom Delouise's voice, "sparklies!!", lol...loved that character..! And the movie...I wonder if it's appropriate for our grandson now? He'll be 7 this summer.... But he doesn't like scary shows unless Marvel characters are battling the forces of evil!!!
Walks, do try to behave yourself today and be somewhat productive...that couch really doesn't need an all day babysitter!
Okay! Coffee is calling me and hubby has it waiting for me in the living-room....Have a wonderful day, everyone!! Nat, +18??!! In our dreams here in the east!!!!
Take care, no slips and falls on ice out there and have a lovely day, everyone!!!Last edited by Lynn49; Tue, Mar 31st, 2015 at 09:15 AM.

I can't believe I can't contain my excitement just because I got in SampleSource in time this round. It's the little things that make me happy!

Nice that dollar tree opened here a couple weeks ago. Bought v8 fusion for $1.25 plus today a bunch of other stuff. Want to bake my own bread again. so for $1.25 each got a cookie sheet, bread pan, muffin tin, got 2 - 2lb bags of flour. I know I picked up a measuring cup but when I got home it wasn't in my bag or on the reciept lol.

Good morning all!
I love short weeks. I think because of various snow days I'll be working on Monday now. I know we've had it off in the past.
