wow! where did the week go??! lol! We just got back, a small getaway to chill and see some sights ( DH's idea of a good time is the Art Gallery, War Museum etc. ) ha ha Hey, he only had a week off and wanted to do something so I thought he'd really love this and he did! Beautiful sunny day here again!

Up for the past hour. Not a happy camper.

Oh, I hope you can find some relief. I was able to sleep a bit in the evening, was up all night, and just slept two hours.
Makes for a very odd day...

Good morning!
Back from physio at the hospital..new, gentler exercises and weekly sessions and yet another person suggesting a cortisone shot in my knee for pain: my Hubby and therapist are in cohoots together! I do not want anyone sticking a needle in my knee that even the touch of silk fabric hurts like heck!

Lynn, I know people who get those cortisone shots in their knees and they work well. They can always numb the injection site for you.

Really weird...I can see it in my post....

So HERE'S an interesting story.....strange but true...funny how some things happen!!

I was sitting with my Hubby in the living-room, listening to a lecture on my ipad, and asked him if he had
earphones for it. Yes, he did, so he got them for me and I plugged them in and then thought,
"Oh, great. Only one side is working." So I decided, for some reason, to switch the ear-pieces and found out that it isn't the earphones that are defective, it's me! I only heard whatever ear-piece was in my right ear! The other one was so quiet, I didn't even bother to put it in, as I continued to read.


See? Growing old is like playing "Whack a Mole"...you get one thing under control, and boom! Something
else pops up!! Thank goodness it's nothing serious, but it explains why I need the tv on louder than most
people and why I can't follow conversations in a restaurant or when there's other distracting noise around.


Quite the revelation...lol!!!!
